A pledge is not legally binding. If the GOPe does something outrageous to Trump, he could break the pledge and still run 3rd party...and the GOPe knows this full well.

Asked if he would support Trump as Republican nominee over Clinton in the November 2016 contest, Bush said, "I would, of course."

All that means is that Jeb does not think Trump will be the nominee.

“It means he has lost, he knows it, and he is trying to preserve some dignity for himself “

What other answer could he possibly give?

This is not a contract, it’s a pledge (whatever that is.) He should put something in writing though for Reince to sign. In it he can have certain specifics that make it null and void, such as: Voter Fraud, Fraudulent Polls, or other specifics that are meant to hurt his ability to become the nominee.

Trump’s got great lawyers, they could easily draft a counter pledge for the RNC.

if the businessman-turned-politician wins the party's nomination for the 2016 presidential election and Hillary Clinton is the Democratic nominee

WTH does that mean?

That was the way the stupid question was posed to JE Bush....LOL.

Asked if he would support Trump as Republican nominee over Clinton in the November 2016 contest, Bush said, "I would, of course."
