It means he has lost, he knows it, and he is trying to preserve some dignity for himself and a place at the table in the future, neither of which he is deserving of.

Should make you reconsider.

Yeb has known for a while now he has no chance.
Or maybe he doesn’t read english so good???

Well, there is the kiss of death for Trump. Well-played, Bushies. Couldn’t ask for anything worse for Trump.
To: RoosterRedux
Oh, I’ll back Trump too, Jebster, but I will not back you.

Bush hasn’t lost until the Dems are certain to have a competitive primary (which is looking more likely every day I must agree).
Otherwise there are plenty of Op Chaos votes to give him the R nomination.

Amazing.
Bush finally said something I agree with.
(Now, will McConnell or Boner agree to support Trump?
Or would THEY prefer to support Hillary?)

No big deal-— what’s Yebbers supposed to say? No?— he would drop even further in the polls if he did. He will support Trump but not enthusiastically-— vise versa for Trump if Yebbers sneaks in somehow.

Jebby knows he’s finished....wants Trump to consider him for V.P. or something important....
I don’t think Trump will do anything of the kind....

This is nothing but a ploy to prevent Trump from running third party no matter what the GOPe does to him.
Meanwhile, Bush will be happy to back any tricks to keep Trump out of the running.

That was my first thought, too.
JEB is greasing the wheels to make his eventual exit from the race as gracefully, and with the least amount of humiliation, as possible.
