Donald Trump says he "can't guarantee" that all of the workers he employs have legal status in the United States and said that if he were to discover any illegal immigrants working for him, "We would get rid of them immediately." In an interview with CNN's Anderson Cooper, the billionaire businessman and Republican presidential candidate addressed questions about a recent report that there are illegal immigrants working at the Old Post Office Pavilion construction site in Washington, which Trump is converting into a luxury hotel. I haven't watched CNN since the 90's. Astonished at their "format"... tape a lengthy interview, then pick it apart with varying talking heads... then go back to the interview. Nearly fullproof agit-prop formatting! The interviewee never has a chance to respond! (Hey, it's a lot like why the Establishment Bush Machine wants Fiorina in a separate debate... she can control that debate and focus the GOPe attack on Trump while he doesn't have a chance to respond! Fiorina is a RINO peeps. She worked for Bush right after HP.)

This Anderson Cooper interview of Trump is also notable for Ana Navarro, Jeb's good friend, who just replaced Jeb's other good friend and former Press Secretary, Nicolle Wallace, on "The View". Nicolle Wallace, who headed the McCain Palin sabotage campaign staff in 2008 and who basically vomited up the script for GAME CHANGE.

Anyone besides me curious how the Bush machine has so much pull on The View? Navarro is obviously their "point gal" against Trump on immigration; Wallace was on the show just as long as Sarah Palin still seemed a threat to the GOPe Rove Bush machine for '16.

Unbelievable. Oh, despite the stacked deck of CNN's format, Trump trumples. Interesting piece of tape.

Donald Trump says he "can't guarantee" that all of the workers he employs have legal status in the United States and said that if he were to discover any illegal immigrants working for him...

Now, all the tolerant and loving liberals will try and find an illegal and have Trump fire them so they can get some traction on this issue.

Not a problem.

Trump only need to then publicly thank them for finally wanting to get tough on illegal immigration, and will encourage other liberals to follow this example.

Then sit back and watch their heads explode.

The chubby little Bushbot, Navarro, couldn’t get a job selling water in the desert if she weren’t employed by JEB ! Unfortunately for him, she is so annoying that no one is persuaded by this unwise Latina.

I think the pretext is going to be to actually have a government agency launch into an investigation over this, then try and drown Trump out with lawfare. The White house will start running interference.

Only now do I realize how much Trump is putting on the line here to run. If he loses, the retaliation will be relentless from both his political and business opponents. No city, government or semi-autonomous organization will do business with Trump after this.

Trump has been taking the jabs like an expert and has punched back relentlessly himself, but soon the body punches are going to start coming in and landing. I hope he’s equally adept at dodging and replying as he has been.

“.....if he were to discover any illegal immigrants working for him, “We would get rid of them immediately.”.........

You can bet the farm there is a search already underway. The last thing Trump wants is to be caught employing illegals.

That’s easy for Trump to turn that around on them politically. It’s threat of lawfare sanctioned by the WH that I see as a problem.
