Very talented film editor. All of his documentaries are basically cut and paste screen shots of old stills made less dull with pans across and in, sound effects and voice overs by actors, with the occasional filmed interview with historians or, in the case of "The War", still living participants in the events portrayed. They are some of the best and most watchable history television ever done.

But none of that makes his opinions about much of anything worth more than a pitcher of warm spit. He should stay in the editing room where he belongs and, oh yeah, GET A FRIGGIN' HAIRCUT! The whole page boy bangs look went out after the first time the Beatles took Acid.

Appearing on CBS’s Face the Nation Sunday, documentary filmmaker Ken Burns told host John Dickerson he believes America is still a racist nation, and those who have questioned the legitimacy of President Obama’s birth certificate, namely, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump, have done so as an alternative to using the N-word.

Burns is no more than a cheap propagandist.
