If you use a standard that includes repetition in the propaganda media, then you have to see this rhetoric is seen as very credible by the large numbers of leftists and left-leaning morons in America.

The very repetition is what's destroyed the credibility. When every slight, insult, or blunder is blamed on racism, it soon loses any meaning. Just like global warming or "Bush's fault," they're endless, droning memes that become harder and harder to believe, until eventually it's just not worth the effort anymore.

Sure, the lefties pay them lip service, but most of them probably don't believe them, if they were capable of telling the truth. The rhetoric is useful as a social instrument, a dialectical tool, but not as anything representing fact.
