I just hope and pray, these three men represent the future of this country instead of the motley dregs of society we usually see on national TV. They are the type of young men that make parents and nations proud. Very much like most of the veterans I meet or see.
I disagree that they acted without regard to their own safety. They were acting FOR their own safety ... they had no choice. They could act or die cowering. That they probably saved many lives in the process is great but they even said that their motivation was to survive, that instinct for self preservation just kicked in.
Not a thing from the heart passes these creeps lips. Why? Because they have no heart. They live a script.

I'd say in such close quarters when running towards a full-auto AK-47, 1 Airman, 1 National Guard, and 1 civilian college student definitely equals 3 Marines.
I couldn't be more proud of these 3 brave young Americans. Just wish the media would stop harping on their military training. The black student had none and did his part valiantly.
This is an opportunity for the self-appointed black leadership to hold this black student up as an example rather than their whining, rioting, looting constituents that they make excuses for. Wonder if Obama will say, "If I had a son...".
As others have said, it gives hope to see such youth in contrast to those who watch the low-class antics of the inane reality shows.
