Most candidates this early don’t have complex bit by bit details of how they will achieve their goals.
The give you rough approximations of what they want to do.
Some of this can’t be solidified until they actually get their cabinet together and work out the details.
These candidates don’t have a full cabinet following them around.
They tell you what they see as problems, and give you a rough draft of their goals.
That’s the way it’s always been.
Wow. That is a lot of money to donate to that sleaze bucket.
Sadly, a lot of people on our side are easily swayed by rhetoric from someone who at best may be newly leaning right.
I hope in two years we will not be sitting here complaining how conservatives were deceived by a shyster who only pretended to be conservative to win the primaries.
Go Cruz
Naghmeh Abedini!
Naghmeh Abedini!
Good point. However right now the only goal I see on Trump site is an immigration plan. I wanna see more than that before I’m convinced he’ll make America Great Again.
In his books Trump went into specifics which weren’t Conservative. So yeah I’m still a skeptic Trump is the Guy.
I would be interested in hearing a few of the specifics you mentioned. (leftist in nature)
I’m not against listening to folks who have something tangible to reference.
the wealth tax, single payer...he supported those in his books.
I still have an open mind on Trump. I do believe people like Trump can change politically and be sincere about it. So I’m waiting for more info from him.
Is it possible that the reason you came to this thread is that you still have doubt about picking a short-term campaign-Conservative candidate over a life-long-proven Conservative candidate?
Awesome message by Cruz tonight, great job by Cruz and all those heroes on stage with him tonight.
Got me back in the right frame of mind about the election, it not all about policies but more about principles and restoring are liberties
Awesome, must see
I haven’t heard of him saying anything on the wealth tax. Just saying I haven’t heard a correction.
I don’t know what would be behind that statement. Maybe he’s thinking it’s his duty to do his fair share. Creating an empire and employing tens of thousands of other people who pay taxes, is more than enough IMO.
I’m of the opinion it’s hard enough to create wealth in this nation. The government takes none of the risk, never bails you out, and then wants a big slice of your after tax investment income.
The government should get out of the way and let guys like Trump create as many jobs as they can. They shouldn’t tax away his ability to add more employees at more projects.
As for single payer, he is for creating as much competition and variety of policies as he can. He feels he’ll drive better service for less money. I’ve heard him address this. He supports a robust private sector fix. And he wants government out of it as much as it can be.
Yes, he still thinks the 45 million must be covered. They always were, because the government still jumped in and paid the bills in the old days.
I didn’t come to this threat to rain on Ted’s efforts. I saw something that drew me in and I commented.
I’ll leave it at that.
If you want to know more about my thoughts Cruz vs Trump, come to another thread and ask any question you like.
Sometimes I respond to a comment once I’m on a thread, and I don’t even pay attention to what thread it is.
Take care.
No.
You can see me in that pic.
Ms. Inevitable may yet shock the Rats with a second collapse, resulting in real primaries for both sides. After all, Obama said she could keep her nomination...
Well said. Count me in.
