Kool-aid is probably the best option for you. To give you an example, Romney’s throw-away line (in an early 2012 debate) about self-deportation was blamed for his pathetic results with Hispanics in 2012. The only problem was that no one voting in November 2012 had even heard the term...he used it to take out Rick Perry (as if it was needed - when promising to put up a single “do not enter” sign in the desert would have been enough to defeat Perry on the Open Borders issue). Romney was then told by his ‘advisers’ (most of them being gay) to never discuss “self deportation” in the general election. He didn’t...and we got 4 more (horrible) years of Obama.
By the way, his Hispanic outreach ‘adviser’ (probably one of the few straight ones), 10 DAYS after the election, set up a PAC to push “Comprehensive Immigration Reform”, with Amnesty being the key component.
These are who we get when we TRUST Karl Rove and others to pick our candidate. They had 2 chances, they failed, it’s OUR TURN.
So Kool-Aid is likely the best option for many Establishment types.
Words marked.
I think he knows he is the present day P.T. Barnum. But that being said I would be more than happy to vote for him if he was the nominee.
I am becoming more and more convinced that he will win the nomination and most likely the White House and IF he can fix the border and immigration issues i would be very happy indeed.
