There is only one person who controls Hillary Clinton’s fate, and it isn’t Hillary Clinton.
Mrs. Clinton is careening toward possible criminal charges involving her alleged mishandling of classified material on her personal email server while she was secretary of State. And President Obama is driving the bus.
She and her team have, of course, reverted to form, blaming everyone but themselves: a “right-wing conspiracy,” The New York Times, overzealous investigators. What they are missing, however, is the one figure who wants her taken out politically, and who has the power to do it.
She and Mr. Obama have a long history as frenemies. Recall Mr. Obama’s rejoinder at a 2008 debate, when Mrs. Clinton touted her likability: “You’re likable enough.” Or recall President Bill Clinton’s famous put-down of Mr. Obama: “A few years ago, this guy would have been getting us coffee.”
Beyond the bad blood, however, Mr. Obama has a more important reason for doing her in. As I have written previously, he needs a successor he can control. Over the years, including recently, he has waxed rhapsodic over a possible third term to continue his “fundamental transformation of the nation.” Mrs. Clinton will not provide it; therefore, she must be sidelined.

One question before I read it. Is this the Monica Crowley who was the Fox Chickette who completely misinterpreted the initial findings of the Supreme Court in the Gore/Bush case regarding voting in Florida?

I agree. A Biden/Warren ticket makes sense on many levels. Especially if Biden only does one term—it’s a perfect setup for Warren.
Never mind....she’s not the droid I was looking for.
Of course, once Biden is in, he may turn out to have a mind of his own. That is the only fly in the ointment. Obama may well have something big on Uncle Joe, however.
Ms. Crowley, ‘the beak’, has been a fixture on Fox for years, if not decades.
Yes...not the one I was thinking of....Monica somebody IIRC...completely blew the first interpretation of the SC decision....IIRC, she was the daughter or something of some Fox mucky muck.
She leaves out one key feature....in 2008 and 2012....the absolute belief by the Democratic National Committee was that candidate Obama can not win, without Bill Clinton going into five or six key states and making speeches to the crowds. These were states where Obama didn’t have the numbers, but Bill Clinton won without any issues. Bill Clinton bent over backwards to make this work, and thought it’d be paid back in 2016 with Hillary running in a race with no real competition. Well....that’s the arrangement but with legal trouble....I don’t see how she wins now. Obama is paying back the national committee and the Clintons for the arrangements forced upon him.
Very interesting article. I guess that the GOPe will be, of course, doing their part in all of this by wanting to push Jeb.

I don’t know that for sure but this one is worth reading.
I believe that Obama knew and encouraged her shadow activities all along, setting her up. I would not be surprised if some of those deleted emails were routed thru the white house though.

Whatever he’s been hiding in his medical records appears to be catching up with him.
I will.....but I could probably guess why. I think they had a meeting of the minds and Hillary won’t guarantee what Obama wants out of her Presidency. She don’t roll that way and her past experiences tells her she can walk through sh!t and come out smelling like a rose.
Her only problem is now, she has Obama’s government agencies unleashed on her and that final shoe to drop will be Obama unleashing Lynch to indict her. Her “a BJ isn’t sex” routines aren’t going to work here.
That expression on Bills face makes one wonder what were they talking about. My guess is he is trying to get Obama to call off the FBI in the Hillary Email case.
The first word out of my daughters mouth about this picture is that “he looks like he has aids.”
