August 19, 2015: GOP Presidential frontrunner Donald Trump gave his first town hall meeting tonight in Derry, New Hampshire. He spoke for a while and took questions from the audience.
For those who missed it in the live stream. He was definitely on tonight, ya think?

Notice something different? There is no audio of the questions. He does not give the reporters the floor to gain either visibility or allow them to give commentary. Strictly questions.
LMAO
I saw some parts of this on the show on Fox that is currently not hosted by that woman, and I have to say, as someone who does not particularly care for Donald trump, it’s hard not to like Donald Trump.
Dude was on fire.
It’s refreshing to see an unscripted person.
The man is causing me to lower my guard.
Also the prior press conference...The Donald was in TOTAL control....excellent.
I liked how he sort-of hugged the American flag when he walked onto the podium. Then gave the thumbs-up.
bfl
Trump is having a ball, he’s loving every minute of this. No BS, no nuance, no word-parsing or mumbo-jargon, just straight from the gut.
I mean really, he's upsetting the GOP horse pulling the rotten apple cart.
None of that,
We should,
We can,
We might want to.
Nope, he's saying ""He will"", and not mincing words. Straight talk express.
This is a very strong message when a candidate takes it onto himself
and offers direct action from himself personally. Extremely strong message.
We may well be seeing the next POTUS for the next eight years.

Trump sure is a quick study. He had total control over the reporters, with his combination of knowledge, humor, and a willingness to push back. The Ill call them anchor babies to the reporter complaining the term is offensive is a classic for the ages.

He’s talking down to NOBODY.
His tone is conversational.
I really like him.
And if Cruz runs with him and they don’t screw up I won’t have to see another demoncrat for most of the rest of my life.
There will be downs and ups but maybe we can get back to having adults and men running things and not having a bunch of punks, mooselems, communists, socialists, queers and children running the country into the ground.
From what I saw on the town hall meeting today on Fox Trump came out real good. I have moved him up to 2nd in my choice behind Cruz.
Yes he is, he called the politicians in DC, STUPID for making Stupid deals
like Berdahl, however it's spelled, Traitor I think is how it's properly spelled.
He's talking down to the people who deserve it the most. LOL
It really does show just how uncharismatic the rest of the field is after spending some time listening and watching Trump...
Donald Trump knows himself well. That is clear. He knows
The old America ... The one that was strong and unapologetic.
He just can’t be bought ... It’s the one thing you go back to
Again and again. To make that point stops
People in their tracks.
Hillary was and will always be ... Bought and paid for a price.
Love how he handles and MANhandles the press !
I noticed he’s pretty much figured out how he’s going to build a large part of the wall between us and Mexico. He’s been giving it a lot of thought.
He’s a great campaigner, no question about it. The campaigning style also reminds me of how Bush creamed Dukakis in 1988. They hit him relentlessly on his competence, his gaffes, his policy decisions, his looks, his personality...just endless negative campaigning until the most casual observer could only have the impression that Dukakis was a complete clown and a joke who had no business running for president. Trump fillets his opponents in the exact same way. We haven’t seen a Republican president campaign like that since 1988. And I believe it is the only winning strategy for the party.
Trump needs to work on his debate skills. He’s much more personable and dynamic in his Q&A sessions. He was a little stiff and sour in the debate. If he can maintain this tone of strength combined with good-natured cheerfulness in the debates then he will become truly unstoppable.
I have issues with some of his policies and trust issues but greatly admire his people skills and his ability to learn fast. He’s constantly incorporating new bits of news into his boilerplate remarks and constantly refining his answers to tweak them as he learns more facts and counterarguments. However, he also seems to strategize his answers and positions based on what he thinks will play well in the polls. He wants to win above all else, and that wil remain a danger in terms of his potentially caving in on the wrong issues.
Given the hostility level of the reporters, that’s the most impressive press conference I’ve ever seen.
Wow and Thanks for the link! I really enjoyed seeing this! So running late and missed the live broadcast!
