The hotel is right on Pennsylvania Ave between the Capitol and White House.
It WAS an old post office. It had been renovated @ 25-30- years ago - during Marion Barry’ era. They tried to recreate a Times Square New Year’s Eve type event, with dropping a big lighted “LOVE stamp” from its tower. After the 2nd year of knifings at the event, it was terminated.

Understand. AFAIK, Semmons is hetro so The Hill wouldn’t employ him because he wouldn’t fit in with the other employees.

It's because we had no choice other than one big party club or the other which meant no GD choice. They're all owned. For 30+ years not a single outsider with the mean$ has surfaced or ran. No way we could force the right super wealthy outsider to run. It's not the American people's fault. Folks like Trump are extremely rare. Maybe once in a life time.
It seems now we have our chance to get this right with Trump. He can't be bought off. He's the non-career non-professional politician that can do it in my opinion.
