First rainfall since Tianjin explosion leaves city covered in mysterious white foam
The first rainfall to wash over Tianjin since a series of blasts struck a warehouse in the Binhai district last week has sparked a new wave of concern as an unidentified white foam has appeared on the streets.
Some who made contact with it are reporting a burning sensation on their face and lips, while others are reporting a stinging sensation on their arms. Some have said they experienced an itchy sensation, according to a NetEase News report.

I know that whenever I come across some unknown, possibly toxic white foam on the ground, the first thing that I do is rub it on my face and lips...

Doesn't look very unusual in this one. Probably varies a lot with location. Could just be clean-up chemicals, or who knows what.

Who knows, maybe all that other pollution in the air is a blessing as it combined with the really toxic crap and made a not as toxic participate...
Reminds me of science class when we were experimenting with acids and bases and at the end of class we combined all the different chemicals and let it evaporate the water in the fume hood.... a few days later there was just this brown salts in the bottom of the beaker.
Yeah, but at least China doesn’t have the EPA. /s
(Not saying the EPA isn’t abusive some times, they are. But do you really want to deregulate to China’s level?)
