Trump migrant proposals could be ‘catastrophic’ to both U.S., Mexico (catastrophic for who?)

MEXICO CITY — Presidential candidate Donald Trump’s calls to impound the money undocumented workers send home and to jack up fees for Mexicans crossing the border legally each day could prove harmful to the economies of both countries, Mexican experts said Monday. Even proponents of Trump’s immigration stance said some aspects of his platform are impractical or cannot be implemented in their entirety. Trump, whose surge in U.S. polls has troubled many Mexicans, issued a policy paper Sunday that called for blocking the money undocumented Mexican workers send home to their families and increasing fees at border crossing points and for border crossing cards that 1 million Mexicans uses. The measure would stay in place a permanent border wall can be built. “We will not be taken advantage of anymore,” the Trump policy paper said.

The 93 million Americans not in the work force might actually find jobs.

Then they might stop voting for Democrat handouts.

That’d be catastrophic.

Ironic Dems say to care about who? Unions and African-Americans.

Who is hurt the worst by illegal immigration? Millions of unskilled workers depressing wage prices hurts the core constituency of the Democratic party the most.

That’s why millions will cross over and vote for Trump. They understand.

Usual inflated worst-case scenarios without ever assuming that there might be major benefits. There was a study done back in the 90s-—I know, long time ago-—but it showed that illegals cost us a phenomenal amount every year. Everyone screeched about it, but no one that I know of could counter it. Can’t recall the title, but I do recall it was in an academic journal, the Quarterly Review of Economics, I think.

...“Democrats have opened our borders to all manner of horrific Third World violence, crime, and disease. The GOP has supported and endorsed this vile activity every single step of the way. Trump has tapped into the fury of the American people over the unrelenting anti-American NWO push of our paid employees in government. Trump could win this on this one issue alone. Americans are tired of being betrayed by their government on both sides of the aisle.”...

I could easily see why Mexico is freaking out. Twenty percent of your population comes back expecting the level of goods, services and honesty found in the US. I’m not sure even the cartels could handle that.

I don't see much sympathy coming for illegals who do this, taking jobs here and basically spending it there.

He didn't say how he would do this.

The only way that it’s catastrophic to Mexico is that then they would have to keep their own criminals and unemployable.

It might be catastrophic for the illegals that would be in prison in their native countries. It might would be catastrophic for the drug dealers. It might be catastrophic for those here for the WELFARE PROGRAMS.

They’d have to be made to want to find jobs,
and that would require the removal of d’rat handouts.

Start with Western Union.

There’s no extra fee to send money to Mexico. It’s not considered a foreign nation. It’s the same price to wire money to a U.S. Stat as Mexico.

This is exactly what they want. OPEN BORDERS. “North America.” Meanwhile, we slip into a 3rd world hell hole status...
