Does Carly Have the Record to Throw These Punches?
Conservative Review ^ | 8-12-2015 | Daniel Horowitz

Carly Fiorina has been widely extolled for her solid performance in the Fox News debate featuring the second tier candidates last Thursday. Judging by her rise in the polls, her overall message clearly resonated with a number of voters. Most prominently, voters are likely tantalized by her promise to “throw every punch at Hillary” and not pull punches, as has been the case with previous GOP nominees.

Indeed, it is critical for the eventual GOP nominee to have the ability to articulate a bold contrast on the key issues and pin the failures of the current policies on the Democrat nominee. Republicans are painfully aware of the pitfalls with nominating a candidate like Mitt Romney who, because of his previous positions, was unwilling to throw punches against Obama on Obamacare and amnesty with the intensity needed to win the election.

She believes in man-made global warming.

She’s off my list.

She is good about criticizing others when they aren’t on stage with her, but will she do it when they share the same stage? I dint recall her throwing any zingers at her same stage debate opponents.

For similar past inconsistencies Trump gets a pass. Some are allowed to “evolve”, others...not. Cruz is the obvious best candidate — no evolution needed.

She’s a pit bull and able to very adroitly handle even the most hostile questions and turn them back on the questioner. I hope she hangs around for this reason alone but there’s no doubt she’s establishment all the way. So, it’s not like I’d vote for her or anything. She may be worth a look as VP material.

Um, no. In 2011 Trump wrote a book laying out the same views on immigration he is trumpeting now. In 2011, Fiorina supported the DREAM Act, opposed the removal of birthright citizenship for illegal aliens' children, backed the Rubio/Schumer/McCain Gang of 8 amnesty and called opponents racist.

She is a liar.

She wouldn’t be middle management in a Trump enterprise.

I don’t trust her!

“Republican U.S. Senate candidate Carly Fiorina, who has been trying to appeal to conservatives in a tough, three-way primary race, said Friday that one of the senators she admires most is a Democrat: California Sen. Dianne Feinstein.”

“Sen. Feinstein has been a fine senator for the state of California, and has accomplished a great deal. I would describe her as a pragmatic problem-solver,” Fiorina told Chronicle reporters and editors during an interview with the newspaper’s editorial board. “I admire her, I respect her. I like her. I think and I hope she would say the same about me.”

Cruz is the obvious best candidate

I know that, you know that, and i suspect the THEY know that.

The problem is the best candidate hasn’t won in over 30 years.
It seems that the “losers”, including Fox, really don’t mind being losers?
The loser candidate gets paid gigs and maybe a book deal or maybe they get to be a Fox News Contributor.
While AMerica sinks further and further into the abis.

THere are one of two ways we could win this time. At least that my little mind can comprehend.

The one way is, IF Trump, who has enough money he could practically buy the elction, would surround himself with solid conservatives i, and i suspect most Freepers, would vote for him. Trump appoints Cruz AG.
THe second, and best option is, Trump withdraws at some point and backs Cruz. Cruz puts Trump in change of DHS.

She is being portrayed as an “outsider.” She is “establishment.”

Carly is the establishment VP candidate. She’s being exposed to the voters and being positioned as the pit bull to run with the moderate (Jeb) at the top of the ticket. She is being portrayed as an outsider conservative during the primaries to appeal to the base. So far this positioning seems to be working as many conservatives are making comments such as “she is a surprise”, “I like the way she attacks Hillary”, or “she is my second choice”.

The GOPe advisors know they need a female or minority to balance what they expect to be a Clinton/Castro or if Hillary flames out a Biden/Castro ticket. Rubio can’t be the VP for Jeb since they are both from Florida. Carson doesn’t have the politically correct persona for the GOPe. Therefore, Carly is the female they are grooming and positioning for the ticket.

There is no way a fired corporate CEO who failed miserably with her only attempt at political office and who is virtually unknown to voters nationally could raise millions of dollars for a run for POTUS and receive favorable national media exposure unless she is part of the plan.

Here is another example of how the establishment tries to name the candidate. This is NOT 1960. We the people have the internet to supply information and unite us.
The media and the party hacks that feed them are “REALLY STUPID”

Um, yes.

Trump once supported a single payor healthcare system. He also once described himself as “totally pro-choice,” saying, in 1999, “I believe [abortion] is a personal decision that should be left to the women and their doctors.” He has donated money to many leftists, including Chuck Schumer, Anthony Weiner, Charlie Rangel, Harry Reid and Hillary Clinton. And it was recently revealed that in the mid-2000s Trump and his son donated $100,000 to the Clinton Foundation.

Yes, his fans have allowed his “evolution.”

One Democrat TV ad featuring crying ex-HP employees whom she laid off, and she will be toast.

She talks a good game, but I don’t trust her for some reason. I’d need to know a LOT more about her history, ideology, etc., before throwing a vote her way.

Now that you mention that, I heard a man call the Herman Caine show yesterday and say that when Fiorina was fired at HP everyone danced in the hallways as she was a brutal tyrant. Caine asked him if he was one of the people she fired. At any rate, I can see it without hearing that call.

This woman has not “evolved”...she is being used by the establishment for Jeb. Cruz is a great guy and I don’t doubt the Trump voters would vote for him if he is the nominee. A lot of the Trump supporters see him as a pathway to rid the establishment corruption because Trump has the money and other resources to make it happen. I know Trump is Trump but I see a use for him and it can include Cruz too in many ways.
