This is a topic worthy of Rush’s commentary....why a supposedly conservative gathering would un-invite the top polling candidate AND how Fox’s hack job was over and above anything Trump said in defense.

EE has now blamed it on the Trump camp for not calling and telling him what DT actually said. Guess they don’t have the ability to pull the actual interview up on line and listen to it themselves
Let’s not forget that Katie Pavlich and Mary Catherine Ham, two Fox contributors, prodded Erick to disinvite Trump over the Megyn comments.
They outed themselves as GOP-E insiders.
Who cares. Seriously why spend so much time thinking or caring who Erick Erickson invites to his party. It’s such a trivial and pointless thing to worry about.
Yeah, not impressed with either on this issue. You can’t be a conservative thought leader and play stupid leftist-feminist games at the same time. I personally would loved to have seen Trump in the RedState arena and face the scrutiny of the conservative base. My questions with Trump are related to a lose base of conservative ideas in healthcare and other issues.
At his RedState gathering - for which he disinvited Trump and snubbed Carson - Erick Erickson's
introduction for Jeb Bush included “I love this guy“ and “the most conservative governor.”

Where did you get that impression? I was listening to him announce it live over the air and all I heard was applause.
That is all I had to go on though. I wasn’t there, but I couldn’t help but wonder where the fall out was.
