On Monday, the firm Morning Consult released a poll that showed Trump's support nationally increasing to 32% from 25% last week. Reuters released a national survey that found Trump holding steady, meanwhile, though the poll had a noticeably large 6.7% margin of error.

Of course they have to stress the margin of error. If we are going to do that then Trump could be as high 38.7% in the polls. Meanwhile our anointed one Bush is going down in the polls but of course Trump is the clown.

*
The media had to hold these polls until after their “Weekend of Hate” meme.

Yes, but (fill in here with caveats, qualifiers, and anything else that will knock down Trump and Cruz).

Right now Trump is not getting knocked down. Neither is Cruz. Until he is out he is not and running strong.

That explains the Ailes phone call.

[Roger] We tried to take you down Donald, but info I’m getting indicate it didn’t work.

[Roger] Furthermore on behalf of FoxNews I’d like to apologize, social media response indicates we just lost half our audience.

[Roger] Foxnews promises to treat you better next time.

[Donald] Here’s what I want A... B... C... D...

[Roger] So, you’ll put out a possitive statement regarding my contact - good.

[Roger] Megyn stays?

[Donald] Megyn can stay

The art of the deal.

Megyn can stay although her office will be moved to the telephone booth outside on the street corner.

What’s interesting, in all the recent polls, is if you add results from Trump, Cruz, Carson, Paul, and Rubio, basically the anti-Rino group, you always get over 60%.

They did not call this debate:” Mr. Universe and the 9 dwarves!” for nothing.

Like the video- it’s very difficult to explain to people that the media make money from ‘progressive’ policies. Very difficult.

On the polling my conclusions are:
1. Trump’s handling of the churlish media was correct. It would be unseemly in other circumstances, and is risky.
But apparently people see the media as they are- deserving of ridicule.

2. The larger than expected audience prevented the media from distorting what happened. Too many people actually saw for themselves the performances of the candidates.

“The media had to hold these polls until after their “Weekend of Hate” meme.”

It is so easy to see in the rear view mirror. I blamed it on polling data not looking good for a Trump demise so don’t say anything - like everytime they hold back the political affiliation of a busted politician - you can guarantee it was a Democrat.

...but to know and just use the time to bash - which oddly in this case only helps Trump...

Going to put this wisdom in my back pocket. Thanks.

Boy! When Trump is not happy people know it.

You see what he is doing on the national stage. Can you imagine what goes on in his companies when Trump is not happy?

Must be a nightmare.

Can you imagine Trump as president when he will not be with a deal between the US and some other country. Wow! What a show that must be.

Monkey Poll? Is this registered voter monkeys or regular monkeys? This poll seems to be an outlier at this point.

I read somewhere that these silly media brouhahas have a lifetime of about 3 days. Seems about right.
The evidence of these polls seems to be that it’s better to fight tooth and nail for those three days than to just ride it out.
Though that may depend upon specific circumstances.

If the media didn’t have these particular polls they keep a close eye on the public and surely knew the trend.

Any other politician would have slinked under a rock. Trump knows how to show how it is done.

I”m interested in seeing what some of the big name polls will show.
So far none have been published and I’m sure they have been surveying.

Considering the way she was made up during the debates, a street corner seems to be the appropriate place...

Don’t worry. They’ll keep surveying until they get the proper results.
