North Carolina Blue Cross Raises Obamacare Plan Premiums (35%!)
CBN ^ | August 07, 2015 | CBN

North Carolina's largest health insurer says high costs are forcing it to seek higher premium increases than expected.

Two months ago, Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina said it wanted to raise rates by an average of almost 26 percent in January 2016.

But now it's seeking an average 35 percent higher premium for insurance sold under Obamacare.

North Carolina is not the only state facing steep raises.

A study by the Kaiser Family Foundation says dozens of health insurers across the country are increasing premiums well beyond 10 percent for next year.

The old health care system — the best in the world — NEVER had increases like this. NEVER!

No one in Washington cares about the country. They’d rather make decisions based on race, legacy, and party than for the good of the people of our country.

There has been a coup d’état and we are not part of the ruling class.

And the old system never had deductibles like we have now. It is quite the spot to be in, having medical issues but not seeking treatment because of out-of-pocket costs that will certainly follow. The out-of-pocket thing being a concern in large part because health insurance premiums eat up so much income.

I echo the FReeper above and ask for forgiveness from on high for thinking it, but I truly hope some liberals and democrats suffer the worst effects of Obamacare for inflicting this nightmare on us.

All that free birth control and free subsidies for the poor costs money.

This is an obvious error.
Il Douche’ promised a $2500 savings / yr.

When I started buying BC&BS 40 years ago, it was $35/mo with a $10 deductible. Now it’s $800/mo with a $2000 deductible.

Hillary: It's sad to say, but if the election were held tomorrow, there is a good chance that Hillary the liar would win.

That’s unexpected. I suppose the $2500 per family savings are delayed another year.

If the Republicans were smart, they would have insisted that obamacare NOT be implemented at all or implemented in FULL FORCE. None of this staggered price increases over many years so that the SOB’s who passed it will be out of office while the premiums are increasing.

I hate politicians with every fiber of my being. Ditto for the media.

Given that not one single Republican voted for 0bamaCare (ZeroCare for short), they haven’t had much say in how it has been implemented, and the courts have not upheld their subsequent challenges to Zero’s schemes.
