Islamic State militants have abducted dozens of Christian families after seizing a strategically located town in the central Syrian province of Homs, a monitor said on Friday.
The UK-based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said at least 230 people were kidnapped, including dozens of Christians, some of whom were taken from a church in Qaryatain, the town captured overnight after heavy fighting with the Syrian army.
Qaryatain is near a road linking the ancient city of Palmyra to the Qalamoun mountains, along the border with Lebanon.
Islamic State has killed members of religious minorities and Sunni Muslims who do not swear allegiance to its self-declared "caliphate". They also consider Christians as infidels.
Last February, the hardline jihadists abducted at least 250 Assyrian Christians, many of whom were children and women, during raids on villages in northeastern Syria, in a mass abduction coinciding with an offensive in the same region by Kurdish forces backed by US led air strikes.

There is no CWII and there will not be such until something like Athens Georgia happens somewhere and when it is bloodily put down , gets repeated in many places. The political prescriptions in the Constitution do not work any more. All power has been informally and not very surreptiously ceded by the Courts and the Congress to the Executive. The USA is as we debate and rail a functioning and so far, at least superficially, elective Dictatorship.
We always think of CW along territorial lines. I don’t think it’s usually like that.
Now that we have voter fraud and an invasion going on, peaceful change is less likely. In fact, I think the left is already opened fire with sharpton starting riots on behalf of the whitehouse.

Until there is massive and violent reaction to the induced rioting it will not rise to the level of CW. It will be simply destruction and federalization of everything until the Executive is powerful enough everywhere to feel it can confiscate firearms. The people would, at that point, have to violently rise up all over the nation for that to not be successful and final. I don’t see it happening. This is not Colonial America. The tyrannical force is throughout the nation. It is not enforced from a geographically remote outside source.
