When economists wander way from what they know (economics) into political and social sciences, they wind up in the weeds. Doesn’t matter if they’re bad guys like Krugman or good guys like Sowell.

I am still not sure that Trump cannot win. However, if Thomas Sowell says something, I listen.
A Trump / Cruz ticket would be worth it just to watch the liberals heads explode.

Sowell, usually insightful is using the GOPe arguments against Trump, don’t think he understand this.

Hillary can’t get her broom lit-Donald sucking all her oxygen!
I hear this fading voice saying look at me, look at me, look at meeee and the mental picture I get is Hillary bent over, trying to light her broom to get going and Donald in his jumbo jet flying overhead, sucking all the oxygen from her as he goes by in his big jet.
Me thinks the political class should be more concerned about the image their base has of the republican party, not the image the democrat base has.
Actually Trump looks even better in his chameleon costume.
Hillary’s broom is a dud; Trump had nothing to do with that.
