What would a Trump administration look like?

WASHINGTON (CNN) —The frontrunner for the Republican presidential nomination is a former pro-choice Democrat who once supported Canadian-style universal health care, tax hikes on the wealthy and said Hillary Clinton was "terrific."

As he prepares for the first GOP debate of the election season next week, Donald Trump is disavowing many of his former positions and earning support from about one in every five Republicans through a combination of blustering rhetoric and dogged condemnation of the political class.

Now, the question is whether Trump's lead will hold up against the gust of attacks -- and charges of hypocrisy -- he is likely to face from his GOP foes during Thursday's debate. That threat hasn't compelled him, however, to detail his policy platforms.

Depends on who selects as chief of staff.

Carly Fiorina would be an interesting choice.

The Prog media has a game plan that has worked for decades: find one liberal statement made by a Republican candidate, publicize it, and let us rip him to shreds. It works extremely well, you don’t mess with success.

But, this time, we are mad as hell and Trump is tapping into our outright hatred of the Washington nobility that seeks to enslave us.

I said chief of staff - not president.

She and Trump are both from the business wolrd, and should work together very well.

"who once supported Canadian-style universal health care..."

15-25 years ago....right around the same time many conservatives, the Heritage Foundation, Gingrich, Santorum were once supporting "Obamacare." People change.

he and Trump are both from the business world, and should work together very well.

What makes you think she is all that competent? She was a lousy political candidate running for the Senate and she did not endear herself to the staff who worked for her.

In May 2015, Reuters followed up on a story initially broken by the San Francisco Chronicle, reporting that "for more than four years, Fiorina dodged her [2010 campaign staffers], some of whom were owed tens of thousands of dollars in back payments." But, "Ultimately, Fiorina paid them."

Moreover, twelve former high-level campaign workers told a reporter they would "never go to work for her again, and a big reason for that being the fact that they didn't get paid for so long" and had concerns that "she may not be so good at handling budgets." One former high level staffer commented, "“I’d rather go to Iraq than work for Carly Fiorina again."

Fiorina, who Reuters noted has an estimated wealth of up to $120 million dollars, did not personally respond to the report. However, the Carly for America presidential campaign spokesperson remarked that outstanding debts after a campaign are not unusual, and that her prior campaign debt had been paid in full.

Trump supports free market based health care and opening it accross state lines. This will be his key legislation.

Reading through posts yesterday twice it was suggested that the TRUMP cabinet might resemble Lincoln’s. DT knows experts in many areas. If he can convince them to give up the big salaries for a few years and the American people be more concerned about the job they can do instead of what letter they have after their name; he can truly turn this country around.

Lincoln chose a cabinet of opposing views. Listened to both sides, analyzed and then made his decision.

.

Carly Fiorina will be the GOP VP nominee ... unless she get caught shredding some government e-mails red-handed ...

Otherwise, it will be a “XX” chromosome person

Period.

End of conversation.

Yep. Repeal Obamacare and replace it with Terrificcare. We'll find out the details once Congress passes it.

I don't see Trump working with people who hold opposing views or disagree with him in any way.
