MSNBC Guest: Hillary ‘Will Die A Death Of A Thousand Cuts’ [VIDEO]
Daily Caller / (P)MSNBC ^

Posted on 08/02/2015 10:57:31 AM PDT by Crystal Palace East

Former SC Democratic party chair Dick Harpootlian told MSNBC’s Steve Kornacki Sunday Vice President Joe Biden’s consideration of a presidential run actually gives Democrats the best chance of retaining the White House in 2016.

Harpootlian said Hillary Clinton’s track record will cause her and the Democrats to “die a death of a thousand cuts,” yet Biden is “an inspirational figure” that voters can rally around.

HARPOOTLIAN: I think Hillary comes into the race, as she did in ’08 with all kinds of baggage… There’s going to be distractions, we saw just this week with the Wall Street Journal about payments money raised to the foundation and speeches given, prior to her becoming secretary of state… It’s that kind of record and those kinds of distractions that will keep her off-balance and the Democratic party off-balance throughout the Clinton campaign… I think it’s very important to understand, she will die a death of a thousand cuts, as I said some time ago while Biden can focus the voters on him and on what he proposes to do… Joe Biden is an inspirational figure. He gives a great speech… Bill Clinton had that. Barack Obama had that. Even George W. Bush has that. Hillary Clinton does not have the ability to inspire people."

This is very significant!

"Harpoon" or "Morepooplian" as he is known here in DC, is very well respected by both Dems and Republicans. If Dick says it's going to happen, it will!

Please note I said respected, not liked. I didn't like the NVA, but I respected them and their AKs.

Hillary has huge problems. She has no where to go to gin up additional support. Everyone knows her views on everything, so she has no new policies to unveil.

She has some of the Great Unwashed who ADORE her, but they are not influential voters, nor are they the $ Dems. When asked about her policies, these idiots often don't even know them... and that does not create a voter or donor base.

Secondly, when you meet her, you like her less. Bill and W were the exact opposite. On meeting them, you always came away with a "nice guy" impression. With Bill, common sense and morality reversed that feeling within about 2 hours every time, but the initial feeling was always "great guy."

She is the exact opposite. Her first impression is "phony," followed about 90 seconds later by "cold fish."

On the way home, you look at your companion and ask, "So when are the stories about her and Huma and the other women going to finally break."

When asked why they don't break story, media friends say, "Give it time, Son, Give it time. When it does break, it will be by some reporter who has done their homework and has everything but 8 x 10 glossies."

Bottom line, Money drives politics, especially this far before an election... and big dollar Dem money and the DNC types in DC listen to Harpoon BIG TIME.

This is very bad for the Hildabeast.

A few months from now, she could end up #7 in a 5 candidate field.

PS: At a recent DC orchestra fundraiser, someone asked “Can you imagine her in a real debate!”

EVERYONE laughed!

Biden is “an inspirational figure” that voters can rally around

Final proof that we are truly living in an idiocracy.

For the right amount of $, Dick would say anything, but think about it. Someone with big $ doesn’t like Hillary enough that they paid him to stick a “harpoon” into Hillary.

Biden an inspirational figure???

LOL.

But, as Obama’s vice president, if anyone wants to make 2016 a referendum on Obama and his presidency and his policies, Joe would be there to make the case, gaffes and all.

Remember that even though Joe is a gaffe machine, the media will not magnify and dissect and be shocked at his gaffes. The media will not push his gaffes as indicators of lack of ability, lack of knowledge of issues, lack of common sense, or hold such gaffes against him in any way.

No Problem...The Media just ignores her crimes and glaring deficiencies while unloading with vengeance on anyone who challenges her.

I mean think about it...Her “husband” was caught diddling a young intern in the WH! He survived this incredible humiliation and insult to our nation...and is flourishing.

He has a track record as a womanizer and abuser of women. Any hint of this would immediately have a repub receiving the death penalty.

The sickening double standard and the Progressive activism of the media is the real elephant in the room.

You are absolutely correct.

Joe Biden has always been a gaffe prone pol and subject to much ridicule. Since Beau’s death, most Americans are respectful of his loss and grief; someone tell Harpootlian that family tragedies are not resume enhancers.

Biden gets “killed’ in the media in another way.

His gaffes become the grist for the late night talk shows and the daytime non-political radio shows, (Imus, Stern, etc.)

From there they become ‘watercooler’ talk, and create a big problem for him.

The (often not needed to be said) punchline to every Biden story is..... “and who wants an idiot for president!”

Also Biden is a very heavy alcohol user. Not good for a campaign.

Oh yeah, Hugh and Series to the max.

But I could have told them they would have to finally publicly spell it out for her. She takes hints like sharks respond to chum.

Even now, she's saying "I'll bet you can't get to a thousand cuts. A few hundred, maybe, but that's it."

Hillary's attitude is like that of Khan Noonian Singh, who said (quoting from Melville's Moby Dick): "To the last, I will grapple with thee... from Hell's heart, I stab at thee! For hate's sake, I spit my last breath at thee!"

THAT'S Hillary.

Biden is not “the” candidate. He is the CURRENT anti-Hillary.

Sanders is not a real candidate. He is a Hillary-killer (figuratively, not really dead) for Eliz Warren.

The real story here is not about Biden. It’s about rats abandoning the SS Hillary.

Buying political influence is one thing. But,the Clinton’s brought the corruption that rules most of the world. You agree on an amount and your request is carried out. She should be hit on the Clinton foundation on a daily basis!

re: Lurking here.

During Monica, the CBS bureau in DC has a computer that automatically floated between NBC, ABC, Drudge and FR every 15 seconds!
