Leave it to Team Obama to expect Jews to accept a Hail Mary.
The Justice Department confirmed Tuesday that Jonathan Pollard, who spied for Israel, was granted parole and will be released by November, after having served 30 years in prison. The news came almost a week after Justice officials said they wouldn’t object if a parole panel granted his release.
Israel and many American Jews have long sought Pollard’s freedom, arguing that he’d spied for an ally, Israel, not an enemy, and that his life sentence was harsher than what most other spies received.

I am happy that Pollard will be released. But Odungo is up to his lower eyelashes in undermining America and Israel. For that, nothing would be sufficient for me to have even one positive thought about that traitor.
Pollard should have been executed. Pollard spied for others besides Israel, and the information he provided Israel was of no strategic or tactical value to Israel, they traded it to Soviet Union for the release of Soviet Jews. I understand Israel’s motives, but the material revealed had the potential to cause the U.S. grave harm in the event of a war between the U.S. and Russia.

This issue has been misstated. Parole in 30 years was essentially a condition of the life sentence, unless he still presented a threat to the US or violated prison rules.
The card Obama is said to be playing, since the conditions of Pollard's parole require he remain in the US, whether he can move to Israel is in Obama's hands.
