Islamist "Justice": Slow Painful Death for Christian Mother in Pakistan
Gatestone Institute ^ | July 26, 2015 | Raymond Ibrahim

Posted on 07/26/2015 7:33:55 AM PDT by george76

◾While working as a farm laborer on a hot day, Asia Bibi was told to fetch water. When she returned, Muslim coworkers refused to drink from the water, saying it was unclean because a Christian had touched it.

◾Six years later, Asia Bibi still has not been executed. Instead, sick, isolated, and regularly beaten by both prison guards and Muslim inmates, she has evidently been left to rot to death.

◾Every time any Western organization calls for her release, Pakistani Muslims threaten to take Sharia law into their own hands. One mosque prayer leader has even offered $6000 to anyone who kills her -- a strong incentive, since many in Pakistan would probably kill her for free.

◾According to Islamic law, the word of a Christian is not valid against the word of a Muslim. Accusations of blasphemy against Christians by Muslims routinely result in the Christians being imprisoned, beaten, and sometimes killed -- in some cases even without evidence. Pakistan does not require proof of a crime, only allegations -- often made for extraneous reasons, and totally unfounded.

Pakistan's authorities appear to have found a solution to at least one of their problems in the international arena: Aasiya Noreen -- or "Asia Bibi" -- a 50-year-old Christian woman and mother of five, who has been on death row for six years for allegedly insulting Muhammad.

Instead of executing Asia Bibi and further advertising to the international community that theirs is a savage and backwards nation -- and instead of releasing her and provoking millions of angry Muslims to turn on the government and accuse it of supporting "apostasy" -- Pakistan's authorities appear to be letting time, wretched conditions, severe maltreatment, and beatings slowly kill her.

This case is a perfect example of the fact that Islamic culture is simply not compatible with the institutions, values and practices that constitute modernity. A rational government of any sort would have freed and protected this woman long ago. Islamic culture is crumbling and chaotic because the confrontation with modernity effects all aspects of life and cannot be avoided.

We will find out sooner or later if Abdul will pray to a smoking crater.

Therefore, Barack Obama embraces Islam.

Many conservatives folks sat out the 2012 election, arguing that Romney was not all that much better than Obama. I understand their point.

But I do have a question for those folks, and I guess for everyone else as well. Obama is content to let that poor woman rot. Would Romney have done the same?

Disclaimer: I never liked Romney, wouldn't donate to him, wouldn't support his campaign after he became the nominee. I was content to let him cruise to defeat. It's looking more and more like I was wrong.

She has five children I wonder what happened to them, I will bet if they are still living they have been forced into islam and further sold into slavery and I’ll also bet she has been told and endlessly reminded about their fate in addition to her physical torture, talk about testing ones faith; we in the free world have no idea, many whining about the most trivial of suffering, oh our religion is being attacked online in a forum please help us; make them stop... REALLY!

The following is apparently a hoax that claims the mayor of dorval In canada refused to bow to muslim demands, but read the words anyways- These sentiments should be spoken by EVERY leader- these countries are ours, not theirs- Yet they move here, many illegally, and begin demanding that we change OUR systems to accommodate them- anyways- here’s the hoax email circulating- I ju7st wish it had been true!

“Muslims must understand that they have to adapt to Canada and Quebec, its customs, its traditions, its way of life, because that’s where they chose to immigrate. They must understand that they have to integrate and learn to live in Quebec.

They must understand that it is for them to change their lifestyle, not the Canadians who so generously welcomed them.

They must understand that Canadians are neither racist nor xenophobic, they accepted many immigrants before Muslims (where as the reverse is not true, in that Muslim states do not accept non-Muslim immigrants). That no more than other nations, Canadians are not willing to give up their identity, their culture.

And if Canada is a land of welcome, it’s not the Mayor of Dorval who welcomes foreigners, but the Canadian-Quebecois people as a whole.

Finally, they must understand that in Canada (Quebec) with its Judeo-Christian roots, Christmas trees, churches and religious festivals, religion must remain in the private domain. The municipality of Dorval was right to refuse any concessions to Islam and Sharia.

For Muslims who disagree with secularism and do not feel comfortable in Canada, there are 57 beautiful Muslim countries in the world, most of them under-populated and ready to receive them with open arms in accordance with Shariah. If you left your country for Canada, and not for other Muslim countries, it is because you have considered that life is better in Canada than elsewhere.

Ask yourself the question, just once, “Why is it better here in Canada than where you come from?”
