Donald Trump is set to deliver remarks at his “Make America Great Again Rally & Picnic” in Oskaloosa, Iowa at 1 p.m. EST on Saturday. This is the same event that Trump banished the Des Moine Register from attending on Friday, after the paper issued an editorial critical of the 2016 GOP contender’s campaign.

Trump is a good diversion, but my money,my hopes and dreams are on Cruz.

I don’t know, maybe it’s me, maybe I forget how campaigns are run in this country, but is this guy over exposing himself? He’s campaigning as if the election is THIS November...We got about 15 months to go. Not that I don’t think he can’t keep this up, but what he is doing is he’s going to make everybody Trump sick. Right now it’s a novelty, you know, wow...look at this, a politician who does straight talk. What’s it going to be like 15 months from now? He seems to revel in the attention no doubt, but already I can see him repeating himself from other speeches. He needs to cool it, you can’t start a long distance race by sprinting, by the end it’s going to be a different story

Or maybe he needs to establish his creds as the most presidential while the others are helpless and hopeless.
Who could even try to second guess Trump? That's a huge part of the fun of this ride.

With Trump is still rocketing up the polls and beating down Bush/Walker/Rubio, Trump should keep doing what he is doing. No time to stop now with the first debate approaching in 12 days.
Pretty tame compared to most of his speeches as of late.
I hate to tell you this, but, I remember McCain and Romney’s speeches. They were stump speeches and they said the same thing over and over at every rally. Trump adds a few things along the way, but, is staying on message about illegals and the VA. He throws in some jokes now and then to keep things fresh. Like today, he turned around and then asked if his hair was ok. Funny stuff!
He is repeating himself AND adding a little bit more each time. that’s called “staying on message”. You have to look at it from the world of the low info voters and others who only pay attention a few months before an election. To freepers and others who are very engaged all the time, it is repeating, but to others, it may be the first time they hear it and he is consistent. He just happens to be getting a lot of airplay right now so we hear it over and over. :)
Iowans would have to live in a poltical vaccuum to not know Trump is strong on immigration and Vets. He spent too much time on those again. Time to bring some new issues to the fore.
I laughed when he said Caroline Kennedy was asked if she would like to be ambassador to Japan and she replied, “Really?!”
Let’s see - he has hit hard on the economy, jobs, trade, illegals, veterans, negotiations with foreign countries. I don’t know what else there is that is high priority right now - do you? A president can only do so much - unless it’s BO, and you want to destroy America. Then you do something destructive each and every day of your life. Is that what you want?
