Want to eat genetically modified food? Expect a number of voices from the American left to tell you to avoid it. They claim it causes all sorts of maladies. To be sure, there are some voices on the right who say the same. But mostly it is socially engineering leftists who think it should be avoided.
The left is OK denying Africans of corn bred to survive drought. Better the Africans die than eat corn bred to survive heat and lack of rain. For that matter, the left would also prefer Africans die of malaria than spray DDT. It is better that a thousand Africans die of malaria than to risk one bird dying due to DDT, according to the prevailing zeitgeist of the American left. After all, we can send mosquito netting to Africa.
With animals, too, the left wants no fur touched to benefit science or mankind. If you test a chemical or a medical procedure on animals, you are surely destined for liberal hellfire, which amounts to an edited Wikipedia entry about you and possibly an overwrought Diane Sawyer special condemning you.
The American left that would starve Africans, see them die of malaria and see science stagnate because of animal-testing concerns does have an alternative: babies. That would be human babies. If you want to experiment with body parts from human children, "progressive" Americans are perfectly fine with that.
This news has not appeared on ABC, CBS, NBC or most any other news channel except Fox News. The New York Times and most other major American papers have gone to great lengths to explain it all away.
Nonetheless, undercover videos from a pro-life advocacy group have caught senior executives of Planned Parenthood, the nation's leading abortion provider, discussing how they crush children in ways to avoid damage to their brains, lungs, livers, hearts and other organs so that those organs can be harvested and sold.
In the first of several videos released by the Center for Medical Progress, Planned Parenthood's Senior Director of Medical Services Deborah Nucatola discussed on camera what her organization did. Matter-of-factly, she stated, "I'd say a lot of people want liver. And for that reason, most providers will do this case under ultrasound guidance, so they'll know where they're putting their forceps. The kind of rate-limiting step of the procedure is calvarium. Calvarium -- the head -- is basically the biggest part."
She went on to say, between taking bites of salad, "We've been very good at getting heart, lung, liver, because we know that, so I'm not gonna crush that part. I'm gonna basically crush below, I'm gonna crush above, and I'm gonna see if I can get it all intact." Note, by the way, the irony of Planned Parenthood finding ultrasounds useful during abortion to help harvest organs, when they otherwise decry requiring ultrasounds before abortion as equivalent to rape.
In the second video, Mary Gatter, medical director for Planned Parenthood's Pasadena and San Gabriel offices, is caught on film discussing the price of the organs harvested. "Let me just figure out what others are getting, and if this is in the ballpark, then it's fine. If it's still low, then we can bump it up. I want a Lamborghini," she says. She also suggests the abortionist might be able to alter how he performs an abortion to harvest the organs better. "I wouldn't object to asking Ian, who's our surgeon who does the cases, to use an IPAS (manual vacuum aspirator) at that gestational age in order to increase the odds that he's going to get an intact specimen."
Planned Parenthood has resorted to attacking the pro-life group that released the tape. They have all but admitted they harvest and sell organs. The American left claimed the videos were edited, but the Center for Medical Progress then released the unedited videos, which show the same thing.
It is worth remembering that Planned Parenthood was founded by Margaret Sanger, an advocate of eugenics programs who spoke to the KKK. Her legacy lives on with her organization. But the American media would prefer you not know.
The leftists murder their own unborn children by abortion. The leftists steal the property of others for their own personal gain. The leftists subvert education into mind-destroying Common Core propganda. The leftists pervert the institution of marriage. The leftists are lying, murdering traitors.

Heck, I wouldn’t be surprised if at some point the radical pro-choicers started arguing in favor making a profit from the sale of fetal tissue. After all, if a fetus is simply the property of a woman - not human and thus not deserving of any laws designed to protect humans (like those restricting the sale of human organs) - then why is selling fetal tissue any different than, say, selling chicken?
Heck, why shouldn’t fetal tissue be considered for consumption - either by humans, or for those who might find that too ghastly, then as animal feed? Maybe someone on the left could open a “Kid Fil A” - specializing in the preparation of all kinds of fetal tissue to appeal to the radical leftist pallet, including happy meals for their young, progressive, children.

The Leftist cannot be convinced that Planned Parenthood associates profit from the sale of fresh fetal tissue. They are steadfast in the tale that PP only charges a meek $50 for handling the transfer of tissue even though the haggling of price occurs during the off site dinner meeting.
It’s a backwards brain that tries to justify killing 50 million people so that you can do “research” that might hypothetically prolong the lives of other people.
Might as well just legalize cannibalism and get it over with, if that kind of logic is moral.
Good points in this article, however it’s a Big mistake to imply it’s depraved to insist extending food labeling to include identification of genetically modified ingredients.
Republicans are going to further their image as in the pocket of Big Agriculture / Big business, and having disregard for consumer safety.
Conservatives have to choose carefully what side of an issue they want to support.

Big Agriculture and food mfgrs are permitted to self report their own safety study conclusions to the USDA & FDA.
Corn and wheat today is much different in that it’s not only been heavily hybridized, but there’s also been the genetic introduction of actual toxic BT chemicals (caterpillar killing gut bacteria), and making them Roundup ready resistant.
BT derived toxic chemicals and Roundup glycophosphate are proven to have serious impact to human health.
There may be some here who will dismiss resistance to GMOs as anti-progress which threatens food yield to feed the world. That’s a simplistic stance to take. More often than not, agricultural lab technologies implimented for expediency have had bad long term outcomes*.
Starlink corn, Monsanto rapeseed & soybean pollination contamination, creation of super resistant weeds and insects, soil sterility, for instance.

Entire countries are halting the adoption of GMO food crops from being introduced into their food supply out of real safety issues.
BT in corn, as opposed to sprayed on corn contains thousands of times the insect killing gut bacteria toxic chemical poison. And, through natural pollination, it’s possible for that genetic attribute to inadvertently spread to non GMO corn crops. That happened with Starlink corn, and Monsanto soybeans.
It is recklessly irresponsible to introduce genetically toxic attributes into crops unless it’s been INDEPENDENTLY tested for safety and verified that the toxic attribute cannot be controlled from spreading to other crops.
Remember: the USDA and FDA ONLY REQUIRE US AGRICULTURE Co’s & FOOD INDUSTRY MFGRS TO PROVIDE SELF CONDUCTED FOOD SAFETY TEST RESULTS. THERE IS NO INDEPENDENT VERIFICATION.

I picture this...woman...apparently a doctor (”first do no harm”) sitting there saying these things between bites of salad-and cannot believe how anyone who also knows of it cannot see the utter evil of her and her words.
And then their sodomites want, and get access to the children of normal people, through public schools, through media, through organisations such as the Scouts, through apostate churches, and through adoption.
Marchon - my concern with our current government 'highest bidder buys their way for pennies on the dollar - like people who gave to Hillary's foundation - - is that we might wind up in that position.
The answer isn't to attack companies one by one... that would take forever - and it wouldn't work against 'cash incentives' on the other side. The way is to change the incentive system so the American people offer congress the 'biggest bribe'... It's our only chance.

That kind of backward thinking is fairly common and not unknown on FR even. I confess that I have indulged in it myself at some points in the past and indulgence is exactly what it is. There is nothing that cannot be justified by someone who indulges in that kind of thinking.
