Right... very quickly he has developed the reputation of not backing down, not giving up, just letting it roll off of him and putting his head down and bull straight on ahead. It will be very interesting to see what other sacrosanct issues will be lying by the wayside in tatters over the course of the next year.....
“At least he has a degree in economics.”
Like Reagan!!!
My take, what he said about McCain was intentional. Most people would not know the McCain name but they know Trump. He wanted to talk about the veterans so he made it in a way that every news station would follow it.And so they did,and did,and did.(((((Hugs)))))
I love the way Trump is sticking to the GOPe, he’s got them jumping through hoops and they can’t do a dang thing about it.
Just google Trump and see all of the articles on him. Wow! The media is just going ape sh#@ over him.
ME TOO!
Love him or hate him, Trump has tapped in to a level of consciousness that resonates and crosses party lines. Other candidates (Perry, Bush particularly) scourge Trump at their own peril.
At this time the campaign, I believe Trump can say anything and the people will back him. Citizens are just tired of professional politicians and the influence money plays on government. Trump with his many flaws gives people a chance to voice their disapproval of the way things are run and done. They are venting, and Trump is their sounding board, IMO
Our system of govt has been misused, abused, mocked and hijacked by these posers on all sides for personal gain. For them to say Trump is unfit to be POTUS is laughable. They’re a joke. Why should anyone respect what they say about Trump? Trump can’t do any worse, and if they feel disrespected, they brought it on themselves.
RIGHT ON!!!
INDEED!
From the article:
“On Saturday, he committed what for most politicians would be a fatal gaffe.”
No, on Saturday, he committed what for most Republicans would be a fatal gaffe.
WaPo ran an article today making fun of Trump something about “What Trump was Doing While McCain was a POW” or something like that.
Guess the response wasn’t quite what they expected.
If you caught Trump on BOR, he was hitting McCain hard on the situation with veterans. He said when he is President he will make sure veterans are cared for and get the help they deserve.
We don’t want just a wall—we want the 8th Wonder of the World Wall! With men to man the battlements. Something to rival the great wall of China! Hadrians Wall, and Hitler’s Atlantic Wall. The border must be air tight!
Because of Trump far more people will be watching the GOP debate. He has something that neither Hillary nor Jeb have - passion and energy. Watching Hillary and Jeb - also others such as Pataki - one gets the impression they are bored and read statements prepared by others.
Translation: Trump is not intimidated by the media.
“My take, what he said about McCain was intentional. Most people would not know the McCain name but they know Trump. He wanted to talk about the veterans so he made it in a way that every news station would follow it.”
I sensed it too. He PURPOSELY chose his words so as to send everyone into a tailspin. It was BRILLIANT! Border security was starting to fade a bit, so he needed something else to get them going - and McCain gave him a hanging curve ball by calling his supporters “crazies”.
Next weekend it will be something else...I suspect that Trump reads this site, takes notes, and has about 20 issues that he’s ready to pounce on. His opponents, along with the Republicans that are trying to run against him, are TOTALLY OFF BALANCE. They simply have NO CLUE as to which issue Trump will strike on next, but they know it will sting, and BIG TIME.
