Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is hitting back at the Huffington Post for announcing its decision to move Trump coverage from its politics section to entertainment.
"Mr. Trump is number one in the unimportant Huffington Post poll, along with all other recently released polls including Reuters, FOX, USA Today/Suffolk University and The Economist, the Trump campaign said in a statement released Friday afternoon.
The campaign slammed the site and its namesake, saying that Trump's tweets clearly betray his dislike for Arianna Huffington and the money-losing Huffington Post.
"The only clown show in this scenario is the Huffington Post pretending to be a legitimate news source, Trumps statement expands. "Mr. Trump is not focused on being covered by a glorified blog. He is focused on Making America Great Again."
In its own statement Friday morning, The Huffington Post said it would no longer feature articles about Trump under its Huffington Post Politics vertical, because "Trump's campaign is a sideshow.
Trump stories would instead be found under the Huffington Post Entertainment banner.
"If you are interested in what The Donald has to say, you'll find it next to our stories on the Kardashians and The Bachelorette, the statement continued.
Well, at least give credit to the Huff n Puff for making it clear that they are going to wear their bias on the shirtsleeves and with their actions. Not so with so many in the lamestream who give lip service to a claim of unbiased reporting when its painfully clear what they are trying to do.
Huffingglue has never been a serious source of “news”, anyhow.
ROFLMAO! I was wondering why the brain-damaged hung out there.
LOL What thinking person cares ?
I have found one area Huffpost seems to be good at. If you want a compilation of articles expounding on the Citizens United Supreme court decision you can find it there. Democrats to the exclusion of all things important to the country, would expend all their capital in a move to reverse said decision thus further restricting what little opposition Republican’s are offering democrats.
Good move actually
More of the 18-25 year year old demographic reads for entertainment than for politics
So they put Trump in entertainment and comments by Hollywood actors in politics....
I like someone who doesn’t back down and who doesn’t care what anyone thinks or says about him, instead of wimping out and groveling and whimpering and begging forgiveness for saying something that is true.
