McCain is a sorry, old bag of feces, livin’ the hero lie, shored-up by the money he married. Were he a true hero, he would have settled quietly into a very personal life years ago.

SHARYL ATTKISSON is one of the best reporters out there. She rightfully is trying to put the Trump statement in perspective. Obviously Trump ‘misspoke’ because of the ongoing feud between him and McCain. As Sharyl pointed out, Trump quickly corrected his initial statement. We all know others can flat out lie and the media gives them a free pass. The attack on Trump is an orchestrated effort to bring down Trump.

The GOP, big money and the media want JEB !! No other candidate can stop Jeb from getting the Republican nomination. Time to wake up and STOP them from hijacking of another election.

FYI, Sharyl is getting attacked on social media for this opinion. THEY WANT JEB !!!

“only a part of his military record”

The Admiral’s son has driven that wagon til the wheels fell off.

His idiotic track record in Congress speaks for itself - and THAT is what makes McWeevil an IDIOT.

So, which one is it Trump...

Is McCain a hero or not?

You can’t have it both ways.

Flip-flop anyone?

According to McCain’s, the biggest ISIS supporter in congress, fellow P.O.W.s at the Hanoi Hilton. McCain, who the commies called “The Prince”, was singing like a Canary to them.

Remember McCain in the 1990s fought against opening up our secret P.O.W.s information we had in Vietnam. This is because McCain made 32 films, this is not even debated, that trashed the United States when he was P.O.W. McCain did not want that getting out.

It turns out the North Vietnam only gave us back over 300 P.O.W.s of 1,205. This information was found out in 1993 in a KGB vault that was declassified. McCain did not want that information open up to the public because it would expose him as caving to the other side. In the meanwhile he left good military Americans to be tortured and worked to death by Commies.

Don’t believe me? Look at the video Jim Robins posted in the last 48 hours about McCain. It’s exactly as I wrote above.

McCain is freaking Traitor! Trump is right on McCain!

I believe Murphy's first name is spelled "Audie".

McLame is a RINO and a wannabe democRAT. His accomplishments in life and the Senate have been few. Besides being last in his class at Annapolis, he dumped his first wife after returning from Vietnam because she had been disfigured in an auto accident and pursued a younger, rich, socialite to remarry. He was a carpetbagger in running for office in Arizona, sullied his reputation for honesty in the Keating Five affair and has done nothing since to justify his notoriety with the media. And he was the worst, God-awful presidential candidate in my lifetime.

He has ridden his fame for being a Vietnam War POW for as long he can and now he's running on fumes. I didn't vote for him the last three elections when I lived in Arizona because of his willingness to get in bed with the democRATS and act like one of them. Arizona voters need to put him out to pasture where he belongs, in the next election.

Again, Trump may have been intemperate in his remarks about McLame, but he was not wrong about him not being a hero.

After listening to Trump’s remarks — because the media is playing it incessantly this morning — I have one question.

Why did the crowd bust out laughing?

Answer: it was a quip, a joke, and it was an aside kind of comment. “I prefer my heroes uncaptured” And then the crowd laughed.

You’d think they all would have burned the house down, given the audience, and the faux outrage of the talking heads.

And, then Trump went on to agree that he guessed McCain was a hero. Ann Coulter saw the same thing and called that an ‘apology’ in her defense of Trump. It was an apology. It was clarification after a joke had been made.

And if anyone thinks there isn’t bad blood PRIOR to this regarding John McCain who said last week about Trump — Just Wednesday, I believe—

“McCain told The New Yorker that Trump’s visit to Phoenix last weekend was “very hurtful to me because what he did was he fired up the crazies.”

McCain ended that with: “”We did to some degree regain control of the Party,” McCain told The New Yorker. “Now he galvanized them.”

In other words, McCain’s happy that the GOP has ‘controlled’ US!

The MSM is generally evil and wicked, they fit this description perfectly:

Romans 1:..

28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient; 29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers, 30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, 31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful: 32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

Proverbs 6:16-19

haughty eyes, a lying tongue, hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked schemes, feet that are quick to rush into evil, a false witness who pours out lies and a person who stirs up conflict in the community.

I don’t dispute your facts.

He was called the Prince, though, because of his father.

My point is that Trump shouldn’t have gone there. The Left savages Republicans for less and, if perception of the voters is about image, Trump stepped in it.

I could be wrong, so we shall see. He could have torpedoed McCain in many other ways...but left the military thing out of it.

So, was Trump right that McCain isn’t a hero...or, was he right when he flip-flopped calling him a hero?

The only thing that’s important is that Trump said what he said and left the stage to a standing ovation. No boos. That tells you everything you need to know about this tempest in a teapot.

Like the Bruce Jenner 'courage thing', admitting you voted Independent against the GOP (and for Obama), speaks volumes as to who you really are.

Take your Roveite Partybot nonsense and place it up in the orifice of fecal matter darkness where your brain is also occupying space. McCain quit running. Remember that PartyBot? He in effect endorsed Obama as well.

I always vote in the GOP primaries for the most Conservative person with the best record and qualifications for office. If a Liberal wins I look to Independents in the General. I've voted Independent in the POTUS General Election in every election since 2000. Oh yeah and in the case of Senator Bob Corker's last election I voted for his DEM opponent as many Tennessee Freepers did but I doubt you have the brains to research that race and understand why.

Your beloved Republican Party has done as much if not more damage to this nation by it's inaction and enabling tyranny as Obama himself and it began with the election of George Herbert Walker Bush {The anti-Reagan Republican Legacy} and continued after Clinton with his son the second Lyndon Baines Johnson in policy. And let's not forget your beloved Bush Adopted Son William Jefferson Clinton Bush. Is he acceptable to you because he's like a son to Poppy and a brother to W? LOL

The last President of the United States as far as I'm concerned was Ronald Reagan. The ones too follow him had their loyalties placed elsewhere. I am against tyrants and tyrants enablers. I am against Republicans who put party and business interest and special interest before nation. I know the DEMS do this so I don't vote Democratic except for one office one time. The GOP is corrupt from the Top Leaders down and are as bad if not worse than the DEMs because they have destroyed Constitutional Checks and Balances in our government. McCain is one who has helped lead us in that direction as well.

I separate McCain's military service which I don't question from his political service I judge based on his actions as a senator.

Enjoy your morning flame. I can turn the heat up more for you if you wish to continue.

Yep, I agree that that was a dumb thing to say, but as I reread it, I think he was actually directing that comment specifically to McCain. That is an entirely different facet.

I can’t imagine that he feels that way about POW’s, who would, but the Mouth was running before the Brain was in Gear.

Either way, it is up to him to address it as People took it, not what he thought he meant.

The Ball is in his Court as everyone piles on.

Maybe...

Most of us despise McCain and for good reason. I am not worried about the base.

But the media SAVAGED Romney for his 1% comment...they turned the election there. It could be much the same with Trump.

Yes, there is a lot of good, questionable, and bad. Serve or not serve is a personal, medical, religious, or other decision. Lots serve, even more do not. What a mess to get into this. Bush III skipped to Mexico, Gore, Bush II, and so many others got cushy assignments because of their families. Others, Presley got to Germany instead of Korea. It is us normal unconnected people that get no privilege. This is no different today than probably anywhere in history.

In my opinion, there is no upside to this other than to shut people up about their military service. What they did after service does not, in my opinion, diminish their service and I think it is very, very inappropriate for anyone to connnect the two. We, and I am speaking as a veteran myself (my dad, stepmother, many uncles, brothers, wife, etc. did as well), when we start down this path, we make it fair game and acceptable to disparage people's service. Too few serve.

I agree with you.

I don't think service in the military excuses one for later actions in their lives. And then there's the hypocrisy of it being okay to criticize Kerry but it not being okay to criticize McCain. Selective rage achieves nothing good for the nation.

As a person soon to be 70, I remember an uncle who never recovered from his Korean War experience, four guys I was very close to (at different stages of my life) who were permanently affected by their Viet Nam experience, but only one with apparent psychological scars. My life is forever not the same because of one of the earliest PTSD suicides following time served in Saudi-Kuwait during that escapade.

I can't see any good of anything that's come of it. When GWB got into office, we were assured he'd care about the plight of veterans. It keeps getting worse. I live in a nation where many veterans are broken and homeless, and houses lie vacant and jobs are filled by non-citizens. How sick is that?

The discussion is fair game. And it's a fair question: Why hasn't McCain, of all people with his POW experience not done more to stop endless wars and make life better for veterans? Instead, he's hobnobbing with ISIS terrorists and other warmongers and advocating wars that never make things better. How sick is that?

This whole McCain deal is a tempest in a teapot. The audience at the Family Values Summit did not boo Trump’s remarks and they gave him a standing ovation at the end. So that kind of tells you what people think.

That was very well considered and written on your part. Well done.

Hypothetically now, let’s partially survey the next major step. We’ll leave Walker out of it. Let’s say that a talker becomes president.

The influence on both sides is mostly from those who rely on government funding for influence—a little more in federal government for Democrats and more in state and local government (partially federally funded) for Republicans. The talker will use that influence for getting into office (”education,” “crime,” “property values,” “jobs” (services), “infrastructure,” etc.: all bloated socialist constituencies).

How will the talker handle the remainder of the default and collapse process brought by him, Congress and the state and local governments? Greece is not a realistic problem scenario to follow, because it will still have a little outside trade and other help. The reserve currency nation won’t have such an easy landing.
