Chattanooga Gunman Spent Time in Jordan, Official Says

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. — The 24-year-old gunman who killed four Marines in an attack on two military sites here traveled to Jordan last year for about seven months, a senior intelligence official said Friday.

The official said that investigators were combing through the computer, cellphone and social media contacts of the gunman, identified as Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez, to determine whether he was in touch with any extremist groups in Jordan before or during this trip.

The official said it was still too early to determine whether Mr. Abdulazeez had been inspired or directed by Islamic extremists or any other terrorist organization.

“This attack raises several questions about whether he was directed by someone or whether there’s enough propaganda out there to motivate him to do this,” said the official, who spoke on the condition of anonymity because the investigation is still underway. Federal Bureau of Investigation officials said late Thursday night that thus far they did not have “anything that directly ties” the suspect to international terrorist organizations. . .

Tell me again why importing people who hate our freedom and our culture as fast as we can is a good idea.

Too soon to tell. Perhaps the name Mohammod Youssuf Abdulazeez is just a coincidink.

All our agencies tasked with protecting the citizens of the USA have blinders on. This guy and probably thousands like him are being ignored and purposely overlooked.

Following the 2015 precedence, we need to ban the ISIS flag, the Jordan flag, and condemn everyone who’s from Jordan or has any association with Jordan. That’s how we do things in America now, right?

He was born in Kuwait so it’s likely he wasn’t in Jordan visiting family. The elder Boston Bomber and the Times Square Bomber both left the U.S. and traveled to Muslim countries and returned before carrying out their jihad.

Too bad Saddam's boys didn't get to him first.

Defund DHS NOW!.

A guy from Kuwait travels to Jordon, Hello! They don’t even like each other. No Red Flag? WTF is DHS doing anyway?

Unless, this is a false flag and the little patsy was set up.

On one of the cable news shows yesterday, they reported that two women were taken from the house in handcuffs. (his house, his dad’s house, but the one they were investigating)

Was there any more info about this?

Many Kuwaitis were at one time "Palestinians" on resident visas. During the Gulf War they sided with wrong side and were expelled.

I wonder if this family's lineage is part of that group.

The DHS actually admits immigrants with criminal records, then when they revert to form and start committing crimes, the justice dept. claims to try to deport them, but of course their home country won’t take them back. So we’re stuck with them.
And if the criminals are smart they bring a relative (`chain migration’) close to SS age and/or suffering from a disability so they can start sucking at Uncle Sugar’s teat as soon as possible.
It’s as if a hostile power is in running our immigration and naturalization system; and that reminds me, has Obama expressed his condolences to the gunman’s family yet?

Washington Post story said the guy had “family ties” in Jordan which has a big herd of Palestinians.

It’s mentioned in this story, but it’s one of the things that seems to have been buried.

Yep. Kind of confirms it. Family, tribe and islam are the political units of the middle east.

So, while he was in Jordan did he cross the border into Syria and train with an ISIS group?
