A medic from Middlesbrough was today named as an ISIS kingpin who recruited 16 other students to join the terror group.
Mohammed Fakhri Al-Khabass, 25, whose father worked as an NHS doctor on Teesside, is accused of 'playing a major role' in radicalising young Britons and persuading them to go to Syria.
Al-Khabass, who is believed to be in Raqqa, is a British Palestinian who grew up in Middlesbrough but went to medical school in Sudan.
