Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump argued that it’s “absolutely ridiculous” that the Marines attacked in Tennessee were not allowed to carry guns and thus were “just sitting there as targets” on Thursday’s “O’Reilly Factor” on the Fox News Channel.

I’m all for those Marines carrying but they were shot from outside their office. It seems it was rapid fire and they were hit before they knew what was happening. Now if the guy came into their office perhaps they would have had a better chance >if< they were allowed to carry.
More stunned disbelief. So now the midgets in the Republican primaries let Trump own the gun issue by not immediately speaking out.
America has not had such a baptism of truth since old Harry Truman used to tell the truth and they all thought it was hell!!!
I know he was a Demonicrat, but he still was enough of an American leader to drop the big one when it was desperately needed!!!
Trump should be asked if he thinks the Marines “taunted” and provoked the attack, like he thinks Pamela Geller did.
Does anyone know whether Trump’s 7:00 P.M. speech Friday evening in Hot Springs, AR will be live streamed like Phoenix was, or maybe some other network. Would C-SPAN carry such an event?

He has gotten alto of free air time again today. All of it positive.
1st condolences to all involved
2nd re release of his comments to NRA where he said military on bases should be armed
3rd a couple of short concise well aimed tweets
4th phone appearance on O Really (#1 on cable in time slot

Other thoughts today:
He does not have to pay extra for leasing transportation. He owns his own large and small plane and helicopter plus probably limo. OTHERS must lease similar vehicles
I entirely agree, it wouldn't have made a difference during the attack. But would they have been a target to begin with? Rarely do these guys purposefully target an armed target.
Just think, if Trump was President, the DoD is under his control and he doesn’t need Congress to put right a whole lot of things that have gone wrong with the military.

Yeah, because they’re cowards. They won’t go up someone who’s armed especially here in the US. I don’t go anywhere in Seattle unless I’m carrying not because of terrorist and there is that but crime in general. I don’t intend for someone to have a nice day should they encounter me.
I sincerely hope Trump keeps “telling it as it truly is” till the cows come home.
It is refreshing to hear someone telling it like it is.
How can the military protect us when they are not allowed to protect themselves?
