Man, was this the U.S. Navy you served in? I used to read the back page of the base newspaper (everyone’s favorite page) and see Marines sentenced to prison for 10-15 years for crimes way way less worse than child pornography.

Actually it doesn’t. I don’t know the details of this sentence, but normally inmates get credit for two days with each day of good behavior. There are always exceptions, but this guy will probably be out in less than 30. Not like that is a cake walk in Leavenworth.
Stop mentioning the name of Jesus in chaplain prayer.
I imagine that was quick. Pull up his OPM file, marvel that the Main Adversary failed to connect the dots, and hit Delete.

Drug dealers are right at the top of the food chain in this. They supply the drugs that pimps use to ensnare underage girls into the sex industry. All are equally evil.
That has not been true for years. Military members sentenced to prison go to the Disciplinary Barracks at Ft. Leavenworth where they stay while their appeals work their way through the military courts. When the final appeal is finished, they are discharged and then transferred to the federal prison system where they fall under the rules and procedures for parole as all other federal prisoners.
