A very recently-retired federal agent who played a leading role in the capture of “El Chapo” 16 months ago said that U.S. officials knew of possible prison escape plans by associates of El Chapo, practically from the time he was back in prison.
"There was always chatter that there was going to be a breakout plan," the source, an ex-DEA agent, told ABC News.
The source said that U.S. law enforcement would regularly pass on credible intelligence to Mexican officials, but that did not appear to help prevent Saturday night's escape.
The source was “saddened but not surprised” by the escape, and expressed some confidence that El Chapo could be recaptured, saying that “we learned a lot about his evasive tactics,” the last time around.

Considering what El Campo has said about Trump, I suspect that he had all of the Democrat leaders, and most of the Republican leaders, down there will shovels helping him.
I have a feeling that soetoro and co. Breathed a sigh of relief when guzman escaped. The siniloa cartel was the main beneficiary of F&F guns.
Why would they breathe a sigh of relief? Republicans in Congress couldn’t do anything if they had videotapes and notarized statements by cabinet members admitting it.

And when (and if) he’s recapture, someone needs to put a bullet in him immediately. We just need to bribe the right person and it will happen.

Let’s see...a drug kingpin with a couple of hundred mill stashed away somewhere and command over an army of ruthless criminals is sitting in jail.

Because the Mexican government planned the escape, no way he manages to escape without help from the very top.
Well anybody with half a brain knows big dog criminals in 3rd world jail will try to escape. The question is did they know WHAT the plan was, because if they didn’t know that then they didn’t know anything useful and should probably STFU.
