Pope Calls Capitalism Dung of the Devil
http://www.agenda21radio.com ^ | July 10, 2015 | Paul Preston

Pope Francis on Thursday launched a blistering attack on the “new colonialism” of austerity, describing unfettered capitalism as “the dung of the devil” and apologising for the Catholic church’s role in the conquest of indigenous populations in the Americas. He delivered a powerful mea culpa on the part of the church in the highlight of his South American pilgrimage, “humbly” begging forgiveness during an encounter in Bolivia with indigenous groups and other activists and in the presence of Bolivia’s first-ever indigenous president, Evo Morales.

This from the man who represents the largest land holding entity in New York whilst living amid the world's largest collection of gold and art treasures in The Vatican.

Not to worry, when the ISIS folks get through with blowing the Egyptian Pyramids to bits, they will head for the Vatican to do the same thing! This pope (small P) is just a smarmy Marxist in a white robe. Catholics the world over should demand that he be removed. Instead of kissing his ring, they should be kicking his ass!

Catholics have a choice. Side with God or the Devil. Sadly many choose the Devil in the Vatican. And he has proven that’s just who he is.

The Pope may be a total idiot or misquoted, I give up. But if you think it’s smart to break up the greatest collection of art in the western hemisphere and sell it to private collectors where it will disappear down the memory hole, you’re nuts, too!

Without capitalism, would the church survive? They have to get their money from somewhere. They sure as hell aren’t going to get if from “the poor”. Capitalists better lay low every time Friday the 13th rolls around.

Typical of an elitist: they must include that obligatory reference to “unfettered” capitalism. Does that mean if it is “fettered” it is acceptable? But what is “fettered capitalism” and who holds the “fetters”? An elitist pope? A communist dictator?

The vanity of this pope is astounding!

At last, a pope who can match Fidel Castro in socialist dogma and Martin Luther in invective.

Re-read my post several times. Not sure where I said the world's largest art collection should be broken up and sold.

I'm simply pointing out that Il Papa is a fork-tongued, two-faced, world class hypocrite.

When he says “unfettered” capitalism, it begs the question as to what manner of “fetters” are being alluded to here. The problems in the EU and elsewhere are due to socialism rather than capitalism, so the cause is instead government fetters on the economy.

Pres. Evo Morales of Bolivia presents Pope Francis with a crucifix carved into a wooden hammer and sickle...the international symbol of communism..... the Rev. Xavier Albo, said Espinal's intent (who desigend the piece) was for the church to be in dialogue with Marxism, and said Espinal had altered his crucifix to incorporate the Communists' most potent symbol: the hammer and sickle.

Yo, Pope, is that what the poor, ignorant slobs in Bolivia, Venezuala, Guatamala, Mexico and Cuber are suffering from? Unfettered Capitalism?

Don’t you remember the 100s of millions killed attempting to implement capitalism? Oh no; wait. That was Communism.
