I support comprehensive immigration reform.

1. Kick out the illegals.
2. Make anyone who wants to come here get in line.
2.a. No criminals
3. Commit a crime while here and you lost your chance.

I distinctly remember thinking that when Juan suspended his campaign, “This is where he wins”.

Had he done what I imagined was the only good reason to suspend the campaign, gone back to Washington and stopped the TARP bail out, he probably would have won.

Instead, he voted the same way as the other Senator running for President. Not a single degree of difference.

Border walls and tough immigration stances are election year gimmicks. Just ask Juan.

McCain is just jealous that Trump is more of a maverick than McCain used to be.

McCain is just jealous that Trump is drawing larger crowds than McCain used to draw.

==

At one McCain campaign trip to NH in 2008, when candidate Obama was touring in Europe, McCain’s plane was met by ONE (1) person — a local reporter.

Even after he got the nomination, McCain’s campaign struggled to get crowds of more than a couple hundred.

McLame is what is wrong with the Republican brand...

******

House and Senate elections: In all this controversy about illegal immigration and Trump, we must NOT forget this:

Republicans must work hard to keep control of the House and Senate.

That is, if a Democrat like Hillary wins the White House, but the Republicans can keep control of the House and Senate, it will go a long way to, at least, keep Hillary under control.

He (McCain) added that "if the Republican nominee for president does not support comprehensive immigration reform and border security policy, we have no chance of defeating Hillary Clinton and winning the White House in 2016."

If the current laws on the books aren't being enforced, why in the world would another set of laws matter? Congresses solutions are always to pass more laws that never result in a real solution to the problem.

My solution; pass a law making illegally entering this country tough enough up to and including the death penalty. Give a date certain when the law is enacted and just watch the "self-deportaion" of illegals commence.

Well, I've seen the "we're going to build a border fence and defend it" circus.

I've seen the "Now a republican gets to make supreme court nominations" circus.

I've seen the "Now that we've a majority in Congress we'll turn this country around and get stuff done" circus.

I've seen the "We're going to fix this trade imbalance" circus.

I've seen more sideshows than I can remember.

I'm ready for a new ringmaster.

The GOPe is trying to set up a multiple candidate situation like the primary in 2010 so McCain can win again.
