Yea, he’s getting a lot of people engaged in acts of patriotism.

even as the crowd of 10,000 predicted by the Trump campaign did not appear to materialize.

Clever use of a weasel word there. Can't anyone at the NYT count?

And this is the same week that the media has mercilessly flogged Bernie's crowds of "7500."

I listened to Trump by way of internet. The bit breaks were a bit annoying. I came away thinking if this is going to be his campaign format for me the format needs a bit of polishing. I wouldn’t want it changed to the slick presentations of other politicians but my mind was kept hopping from one point/topic to and back to the next that came to his mind. All in all I thought he did good for himself.

Actually, I think that Trump has figured something out..... the more unpolished and less slick (and to some extent the more meandering) he makes it, the better it will be received. He is marketing himself as the 'anti-politician' and champion to the people who are sick of career politicians coming out of the slickness and cesspool of Washington. Trump wants to come across as Joe Everyman and the guy next door who you like to go over and have a beer with.... he of course isn't that person by virtue of his wealth but he can talk like that and present his ideas like that. I wouldn't expect him to change at all....

>>>I am a Cruz voter, but Trump is better than any Democrat currently being mentioned for 2016<<<

Outside of Cruz and Walker, Trump is the only Republican “better” than the rest of the Republican losers currently being mentioned for 2016.

I was giving Carly a little room, but when she caved and joined the Anti Trump Club, she fell off the scorecard.

Don’t Screw with The Donald. He’ll screw you right back.

Guts and brass. Two ingredients The People have been dying to see in an American leader in quite some time.

As pathetic as the number of people in that photo is, note that about a third of them are actually turned away, walking away, or otherwise occupied.

Fergit it, Hillary. You’ve got about as much chance of winning the White House, as your sister, Lindsey Graham.

You want to know what it is?

It’s very simple, Trump doesn’t talk down to People like the Pied Piper Obama. He is successful in is own right and he wants the same for every American.

No Teleprompter, no Speech. I noticed that even if he was working toward a certain topic, a shout from the Audience moved him to a different point of discussion.

I think Trump would agree with my Late Mother who told me many times, “you help People who can’t help themselves, not People who won’t help themselves.

I don’t think anyone is put off by his Wealth. If they are, they are either Democrats or Socialists, but I repeat myself.

Starbucks says they don’t want the business of persons who don’t endorse gay marriage.

Did they now?

And here I was, about to quit brewing my own, and start the daily morning trek to one of their goof ball shops to get my morning Joe.

Oh well, guess I'll continue NOT doing business with them.

I think at this point, Walker's campaign is stillborn, and the rest may as well pack their tents and go home. What do any of them have, that can follow such a profoundly impactful entry into the race?

Cruz is the ONLY Republican candidate who publicly voiced support for Trump after his initial speech. That's gonna earn big points for him, going forward. People are going to note that he 'gets it'.

If Cruz doesn’t make the cut. I’d like to see him as attorney general Ian’s later on SCOTUS. He certainly has the constitutional background

Dittos.

For the record, Cruz is the first and only politician I have ever donated money to.

Dear God, make your statement fact!

No need to fret over Hillary, Onyx. The American people are going to give her a pass, the same way they did in 2008, and for even more reasons this time around.

The ONLY reason she's 'running', is because she owes so many favors to the millionaires who've 'donated' to her 'foundation'. They paid hundreds of millions of dollars for special access to someone who they were tricked into believing would be the next President of the U.S.A.

She and Bubba knew all along that she didn't have a snowball's chance in hell, but they're grifters, ya know? It's what they do.

Correct. I give Walker deference because he at least stands on Conservative Principles. Unfortunately for him (IMHO), so far it seems he has the demeanor and presence of a Shoe Salesman, not that there’s anything wrong with that.

People want someone with fire in their Bellies and the ability to communicate why. So far Cruz and Trump stand alone in that regard. Right or wrong, that’s how I see it.

No, usually candidates in the primary do not receive secret service protection. I’m sure Donald Trump has an elaborate and experienced private protection detail.

Once the primary campaign is over, the party’s nominee for President and Vice President will then receive secret service protection for the remainder of the campaign. If they win in November, then they will have secret service protection for life. If they lose, then they lose their secret service protection shortly after the election.

he never mentioned a number. he is somewhat not conscious of the meida crap. just says what on his heart and sleeve.
