but Olbermann’s sniping at NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.

In that case, Olbermann went up a notch in my book.

I thought Over-Him got fired from ESPN or some sports network years ago when I lived in Arizona. They actually hired him back after that loser network, MSNBC, fired him? And now they have fired him a 2nd time? I know liberals have issues but the management of ESPN would seem to be smarter than to hire a loser twice.

Beats me. The guy's a disgusting, vile individual. He was the most hateful person I ever saw on TV. He'll curl up into a fetal position and feel sorry for himself until he starts drinking and doing drugs and becomes homeless. Good luck, Keith. You suck.

Maybe he can take some time to begin his novel or learn to play a musical instrument

Hahaha. Yes, I remember this line from our "betters" well, when Obamacare kicked workers down to a 29-hour work week.

The great thing for Keith is, the unemployment rate has been declared to be 5.5%. Shouldn’t be a problem for him to find a new job.

You still have to pay for the Internet. Who do you think owns that?

Pure rationalization.

That may have been helpful. But ultimately, the one common factor in all Keith’s poorly-ending work relationships is Keith.

When we set up cable in this house, they charged us for TV install, and it took me about 4 months of getting them to correct my monthly bill to get them to understand we didn’t have nor did we want cable tv.

Guess they figured if they charged me for it I would surrender and sign up.

I can’t watch normal tv anymore.

Just a couple of months ago, ESPN announced they were moving the Mike & Mike show to NY so won’t they need a studio for that?

ESPN is a victim of its own success. They started out paying cable companies 10 cents a subscriber to run the network.Tthen as they gained more clout cable companies started paying them. Then ESPN was demanding extortolnist rates and many cable companies moved them to Basic + or Premium pay levels and customers began refusing to pay for stuff that was once free.

Netflix’s $9.99 a month rate isn’t enough to develop new content for. Their main product line is from movie and TV shows developed by legacy media. Once that is gone, they will either have to radically increase their subscription rates, which they can’t, or start putting a more and more ads.

The other course is for more and more free media like Youtube, but the owners are desperate to turn that into a revenue stream some how.

Netflix’s $9.99 a month rate isn’t enough to develop new content for.

Netflix has 62 million subscribers @ $10/month which equals annual revenue of $7.44 billion. They are already creating their own content such as House of Cards and Orange is the New Black.

Compare that to HBO ($4.9b).

Netflix had a new series about 8 people all around the world telepathically connected. I thought it would be a good concept. The first episode featured a steamy sex scene between two transgender individuals who are pivotal characters in the series. Males to females in Jenner fashion. Call me a homophobe, but I stopped right there. I don’t care how people have their sex, as long as children and animals are not involved. Just don’t try to make me watch.

Hopefully he’ll resort to a rope and a stout curtain rod.

Back to his mother’s basement . . . how sad! Maybe Rachel Mad-Cow will get him on her/his/its show.
