>>Have you considered the possibility that God’s commandments are supposed to be kept, rather than enforced?

Kept and Enforced in the hearts of a government of “We the People” constituted by individuals?

This Pastor does a better job of articulating what I’ve been trying to say than I have:

“Covetousness as Idolatry”

No, I’m advocating for the Body of Christ - and discerning it from the temporal world in which it exists.

You know, among your many charming qualities, is your ability to make simply absurd assumptions....like assuming I am pro NWO because of some 90 day consulting gig I had 23 years ago.

At the time, I knew (prophetically) that a Clinton Presidency would be a disaster...and that disaster is still with us today, 23 years later - much of it either directly or indirectly caused by Clinton. I coulda cared less about HW Bush. OR Dan Quayle frankly. I was doing something I was good at, loved to do, and thought was important.

No, you're advocating for a government enforced body of Christ in this temporal world....discerning nothing correctly. Maybe you should apply a little more of this at home and quit thinking that a government run religion is such a good idea. World history proves you wrong on that.

Are you the genius who invented the “Voodoo economics” catch phrase that Shrub Sr. used to attack Ronald Reagan?

I’m advocating for Government Of the People, By the People, For the People - and simply recognize what John Adams did:

“Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.” - John Adams

Your “free market” is amoral.

LIAR. I’m no more advocating such a thing than John Adams was.

Babylon was a government run religion. How’d that work out again C Edumbund Nebuchadnezzar?

>>And who enforced the original constraint placed on mankind in Paradise?

The laws built in to the system, naturally.

Did gravity and the laws governing Fire and Water and Ice become evil after Adam’s disobedience?

HLP - Let me help you Ciaphas- it is intellectually odd to say that it is possible to have a government by the people (etc) and then say the free market is amoral. The two must go together. Without the free market, there IS NO by the people that's even possible.

You know what else John Adams said? (I bet you don't),. HERE TIZ Pontius: "The moment the idea is admitted into society, that property is not as sacred as the laws of God, and that there is not a force of law and public justice to protect it, anarchy and tyranny commence. - John Adams

HAHAHAHA....got you big time.

HG, what you think about someone blatantly against the free market as immoral.

The Government Run, Free Market Religion of Babylon was a bad thing?

Rev 18:2-3

"Fallen! Fallen is Babylon the Great!

She has become a home for demons

and a haunt for every evila spirit,

a haunt for every unclean and detestable bird.

3 For all the nations have drunk

the maddening wine of her adulteries.

The kings of the earth committed adultery with her,

and the merchants of the earth grew rich from her excessive luxuries."

NIV

Evidently so.

How should we discern the Moral and Godly governance John Adams and America's founders had in mind from that?

When you pair that with the quote you made, add them up, total it up, you get FREE MARKET!

>> against the free market as immoral.

The Free Market is an amoral created thing.

As with other created things, the associated immorality is constituted when the created thing becomes an object of Covetous Idolatry.

I have enough self control not to be sucked into idolatry and covetousness just because I operate in the free market. Maybe one day you’ll mature enough to have that same self control.

Have you ever studies Bees?

They’re marvelously interesting creatures.

The natural laws which govern the reproductive process in a colony are especially interesting.
