More Than 347,000 Convicted Criminal Immigrants At Large In U.S.

Hundreds of thousands of convicted criminal immigrants remain at large in the U.S. and a number have gone on to commit additional crimes.

According to a March 2, 2015 “ICE Weekly Departures and Detention Report” obtained by Center for Immigration Studies expert Jessica Vaughan and shared with Breitbart News, there were 168,680 convicted criminal immigrants who had final orders of removal but who remained at large in the U.S.

Another 179,018 convicted criminal immigrants with deportation cases pending also remained at large.

While the vast majority were not in custody some were detained — namely 6,220 criminal immigrants facing final deportation orders and another 7,680 convicted criminal immigrants with immigration cases pending.

In recent years there has been a focus on the number of annual criminal immigrant releases.

In 2013 the Obama administration released 36,007 criminal immigrants who had nearly 88,000 convictions. Those convictions included 193 homicide convictions, 426 sexual assault convictions, 303 kidnapping convictions, and 1,075 aggravated assault convictions.

In January, the Department of Homeland Security revealed in a 38-page document to Senate Judiciary Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-IA) showing that of those criminals released in 2013, 1,000 had gone on to commit additional crimes including, terroristic threats, lewd acts with a minor, various types of assault, DUI, robbery, hit-and-run, gang activity, rape, and child cruelty.

“The Obama Administration claims that it is using ‘prosecutorial discretion’ to prioritize the removal of criminal aliens from this country. But this report shows the disturbing truth: 1,000 undocumented aliens previously convicted of crimes who the Administration released in 2013 have gone on to commit further crimes in our communities,” Grassley said in January.

What a coincidence that so many Dem Governors want to out law an employer’s right to ask an applicant about past convictions.

These numbers appear convictions for crimes in the US. I wonder how many more have criminal records in their countries of origin.

When there are two violent criminals on the loose, it’s a news story.

When there are 36,007, it’s just a number.

This is a national disgrace, and seems to be worsening.

There’s half of your problem with Mexican immigrants - epic failure to deport criminals. The other half is our failure to even make a real attempt to control entry. Mexico is undergoing the equivalent of a civil war that is being financed by American druggies. The cartels are operating on both sides of the border. Criminals including members of cartels out of favor are able to escape to the U.S. Because of this open warfare in Mexico, people unable to make a living during the chaos and murders are themselves fleeing or sending their children to literally save their lives. Parts of the Mexican elites benefit from the cartels and have no sympathy for the poor who are impacted by the violence. On top of everything you have Santa Muerte reigning over the slaughter.

I had just posted an old article from 2007 (G.W. Bush years) to a thread about how to go about getting rid of the illegals. That article was a longer “in-depth” reporting on the heartache the ICE raids were on the struggling “immigrants”. Back then ICE had a list of 660,000 people it was going after with criminal records.

The numerous raids and knocks on the doors in the early hours was not only catching the bad guys, but the poor defenseless immigrants living nearby also became worried about getting caught and them leaving back on Mexico on their own.

One raid on Del Monte netted 160+ illegals. A raid on some businesses in Iowa ended up with so many people arrested and fleeing that the entire small town shut down. Of course the article portrayed that as a bad thing.

This is not sustainable, well, maybe it is. Maybe we will all just sit by while this POS in the White House and the damn democrats continue to destroy our once great country.

The Rule of Law: The rule of law is the legal principle that law should govern a nation, as opposed to being governed by arbitrary decisions of individual government officials. It primarily refers to the influence and authority of law within society, particularly as a constraint upon behavior, including behavior of government officials.

There may come a day when the bastards responsible for all of this lawlessness will need to be taken to the gallows. tic, toc, tic, toc.........

Democrats want them for the same reason they want the vote for convicted felons.
For the same reason algore tried to exclude the absentee votes of servicemen and women.
Ilegals vote 8-2 for Demoncrats because they know they will get stuff for their votes. Free stuff that you and I pay for.
Isn’t it enough that we already have a domestic base of welfare deadbeats? That now we’re paying for their health care as well. Rich homeowners push for amnesty so their illegal alien maids can receive health care coverage. Must we take on Mexico’s rapists and criminals, and drug abusers, as well, or be called racists?

It is political suicide for any Republican (who can count) to support “comprehensive immigration reform”, the euphemism for amnesty.
But. Many. Still. Do. Death to the GOP-e.
