Americans Are Blessed with Liberty, but Not Because We Deserve It
National Review ^ | 7/5/2015 | Kevin Wiliamson

The American proposition is a theological proposition: “that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights.”

Just how radical that idea is is difficult for the 21st-century Western mind to comprehend. For the entirety of the human experience, most men had been subjects — the ruled living their lives at the sufferance of rulers. The American proposition inverts that: We are citizens, not subjects, and government exists at our sufferance, not the other way around. Americans first applied to politics the Christian belief that we are made in the likeness of Almighty God Himself, not in the likeness of livestock to be herded, milked, and slaughtered.

Americans’ religiosity compared with that of our European cousins perplexes and vexes those who do not understand that our civil religion is rooted in our religion-religion, that we have, for instance, a constitutional prohibition on the establishment of a national church because our founders were in the main sundry fractious irreconcilable believers rather than jaded agnostics. We have freedom of religion because our forefathers were Puritan fanatics, not in spite of the fact. Consider the mind of Thomas Paine: Even our anti-ecclesiasticals are evangelical. Paine’s character dominates that of the modern American atheist, who burns with a holy fervor unknown to the milquetoast Sunday-morning Christian.

Ultimately, we Americans are not a blood; we are a creed.

We don’t deserve the blessings of the Almighty yet He is pleased to bless when we humbly praise and acknowledge Him. The godless leftists get the piggyback effects but on their own the Almighty would withdraw the current blessings. Arrogant ungodliness is a costly sin with consequences. Choose the Lord and praise Him.

What the people of this country has thoroughly forgotten is that the fight for liberty is a daily job. We have become so lazy, that we think our freedom will never be taken away from us. We can never imagine that our freedoms are being taken away from us, a little bit at a time. Eventually, all our freedoms are gone, and we wonder how we were so stupid. We’ve gotten use to the idea that out leaders in Washington will always be there to protect us. While in reality, these leaders we trusted are chipping away our freedoms, a little bit at a time.

The ONLY reason that G*D allowed the Creation of the United States was this date “14 May 1948” and this action “The reestablishment of the Country of Israel(https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Israel)";. We disrespect Israel or Almighty G*D at our peril.

From 6/26/15 on, the theft of America is the fault of we the people and not the Evil Bastards who are stealing it all right in front of our eyes.

We don’t have a constitution anymore and without a constitution, we have NO LIBERTY. We are a socialist, globalist piece of land ruled by amoral foreigners, traitors and thieves.

Here’s something else to provoke.

Americans only have the illusion of liberty remaining because we are armed and the traitors know it. They could not disarm us if they proclaimed guns banned and they know that, too. We would be a nasty bunch to confront - from sea to shining sea.

To control us, they would need to nuke us and hope we roll over. We might, if we are all dead. With the latest Iran deal, Obama has upped the odds of that happening. But maybe Iran is just kidding when they say they will nuke the “big satan.” Kerry thinks so. I would not bet on their grand sense of humor.
