Ted Cruz Schools Univision Anchor On How The Constitution Works
Shark Tank ^ | July 2, 2015 | Javier Manjarres

Posted on 07/02/2015 8:48:10 PM PDT by SoConPubbie

Senator Ted Cruz, who is also a Republican presidential candidate, appeared on Spanish-language TV network Univision’s Fusion TV, to pitched his new book ” A Time For Truth.”

The interview was set up to promote the book, but anchor Jorge Ramos decided to take a quick left turn just past the great big gay rainbow, opening up the discussion about marriage equality and the recent Supreme Court decision about gay marriage.

Ramos seems to desperately try to corner Cruz and convince him that judicial activism is how the U.S. government works.

Professor Cruz took it upon himself to whip out his paddle and level an epic Constitutional smack down upon little Jorge.

The exchange between Cruz and Ramos is truly epic. Ramos is clearly taken back by Cruz’s knowledge of the Constitution, and appears to be a little hot under his immigration collar.

This is a must watch video. Don’t worry, the gay marriage segment is at the very beginning of the video.

"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton

"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldn’t make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan

"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams

"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams

Was Ramos wearing a Hillary button on his suit? The guy is such a tool for the Democratic Party.

The Dunning–Kruger effect is a cognitive bias wherein unskilled individuals suffer from illusory superiority, mistakenly assessing their ability to be much higher than is accurate. This bias is attributed to a metacognitive inability of the unskilled to recognize their ineptitude.

BRILLIANT display of moderation by Cruz...

I would have tore into that rascal like an irate teenaged girl.. rolling my eyes..

He(reporter) was jockeying to promote commie ideas.....

And Cruz “Rope-A-Doped” him.. and said things that no doubt have NEVER been said on that show before.. maybe on the whole network..

Just Brilliant.. display... making Cruz ANGRY can get you an UPPERCUT...

AMAZING at just how stupid that reporter was.. like a machine..
or really like a BORG... totally controlled by the HIVE..

Cruz danced like a ballerina..

The same sex marriage ruling will lead to a culture war bigger than Roe V Wade.

You could argue when to allow abortions, parental notifications, government funding of it. There are a few diehards on either side that won’t be swayed and a 40% chunk strongly pro-life or pro-choice. However, barring your daughter or girlfriend having an abortion without telling you or fuming over federal funding for Planned Parenthood, it doesn’t affect most people very much.

Same sex marriage affects nearly EVERYONE in ways that Canada has revealed by being ten years further down this curve, as have states like Colorado and Oregon:

* don’t want to provide a service that you consider blasphemy? Get sued into bankruptcy.

To make things worse, the Civil Rights commissions often let the people get sued personally as well as professionally, so that their homes are as at risk as their businesses.
Compounding the atrocity is the Colorado Civil Rights commission saying that gay bakers can refuse traditional marriage cakes because that’s a political message, but the inverse can’t be refused because that’s civil rights.

* don’t want your kids learning Asha has two mommies? Tough, because same sex values trump parental notification or opting out.

* Non-profits and shelters from the insanity risk losing their funding.

The Supreme Court had arguments during the case that private schools that don’t toe the far left line could lose tax exempt funding.
Private religious schools K-12 and colleges are going to get hit with homosexual and transgendered students showing up, demanding full accommodation in behavior and dress. Don’t accommodate, risk tax exempt status, which would shut many down.

* Same sex marriage led to immediate federal guidelines on transgenders. If you like your privacy, you can’t keep it.

No more boys and girls standard uniforms the moment a transgender complains, mentally ill boys on the girls’ teams and in their locker rooms. Likewise, women’s only spaces like steam rooms, public bathrooms and gyms like “Curves” will have mentally ill men in, and they have to be accommodated under the same-sex ruling and non-discrimination by sexual orientation / perceived gender rules Obama passed after the Supreme Court Ruling.
And nothing brings this liberal crap home like having to share a bathroom with a man in a dress next to you, who all too often retains his sexual attraction to women.

* If you like your son, you can’t keep your son (normal)

Look at interpretations of federal non-discrimination law to make “conversion therapy” illegal across the nation, as well as banning therapy for boys who think they are girls to bring them back to sanity. The Wall Street Journal that Dr. Hughes wrote in 2014 said that 80% of these kids spontaneously resolve, losing the delusion, but now all risk being funneled into hormones and surgery instead. If your son says he’s your daughter, you risk authorities punishing you for treatment that doesn’t involve surgical mutilation.

* In the name of hate, no more debate.

One paper made the news for saying it won’t take letters to the editor against same sex marriage. Canada is ten years further along, and quoting in public sections of the Bible criticizing same sex relations gets you arrested.

Other Canadian legal persecutions for expressing non-PC opinions, staffing in churches and so forth are detailed here.

Jorge Ramos is a living warning of what a lot of us fear. In his questions and comments Ramos shows a strong authoritarian streak. He believes if the government says so, then it must be obeyed, the Constitution be damned. He has no grasp of the traditional American form of liberty. His outlook is more in tune with a society run by a Caudillo, Dictator, or Junta, as is quite the norm south of the Rio Grande. What we traditional American supporters of the Empire of Liberty fear is that as our society gets more Latin, the attitude of Jorge Ramos will come more and more to the forefront and eventual overturn our American system, to be replaced by the chaos and violence of the authoritarian politics of Latin America. I for one feel it is important to preserve the republic of Adams, Jefferson, Jackson, and Lincoln from the slave mentality of the subjects of Peron, Castro, Pinochet, and Chavez.

The Ramos types are the likes of what is flowing over our border, by scores and scores of thousands.

Cruz is on a thread that the Constitution can possibly survive against these numbers and their free ticket to the ballot box.

THAT is exactly right.

AND it is the reason that people like me and so many others are adamantly and bitterly opposed to Mexican illegal immigration...AND legal Mexican AND Latin American immigration.

They will turn this country into the nightmare thug states that have torn the rest of the Americas apart, and made them filthy, degrading laughingstocks all over the world.

500 years of misery in the New World.

Except here.

Ramos is Scum. A militantly stupid parrott. Calling himself an American is an abomination.

It was heartening to see Cruz take him. An impressive performance that shows him to be an honest man. I don’t know how he kept his temper. I would have lost it with a foreign clown like that.
