On earth there are about 170 countries, only two countries require their citizens to file income tax every year. The USA is one of them.
You are required to do that but you don’t have gun rights when you visit your country?
I find that amazing.
I lived in Canada as a landed immigrant and US citizen for a time. Visiting back in the States, why on earth would I have bought something I could never have taken back over the border with me? I don’t understand the issue, I guess.
It appears plaintiff doesn't necessarily have an intention to take the firearm home, although I would imagine some people are allowed to possess a firearm in whatever country they reside in.
The courts are just dickering over what basis should be used to dispose of the case, standing not being fully fleshed out, for example. The unconstitutional regulation is at no risk of being overturned.

Because maybe you have a need to protect yourself and your family while you’re here in the USA.
Plus this: Although Canada wouldn’t let you take a firearm back there, probably there are a few countries that WOULD allow such.
Everyone on our soil should have both the rights and responsibilities of the law of our land (the U.S. Constitution), as long as they’re on our soil. Those who come from elsewhere and severely violate the rights of others should get the boot.
The 14th specifically limits its scope of equal protection to privileges and to citizens.
But the first 10 are not about privileges or citizens. They are about RIGHTS that come from God/natural law and not from government or men, as privileges do.
Thus the right to self-defense and to keep and bear arms is a God given right.
My life has been saved twice by an illegal Mexican immigrant who practiced concealed carry. In fact, during the time that I was in that community I was aware that many illegals practiced concealed carry. They did so because they felt that they could not call on the police for help and they did not want to be seen as easy pickins by the thugs.
Indeed, the best proof of John Lott’s theories is the illegal immigrant community and guns.
It does have its downside, however. The only tragedies I was aware of were when the illegals got drunk, got in an argument with their cousin or best friend and pulled out their piece.
When sober, no problem. But the few who drank and pulled it out gave everyone else a bad rap.
You really don’t mean that do you? Come on, a visiting Frenchman should be able to vote in a US presidential election if he just happens to be in town? Huh?
