Helium is inert. Deep sea divers use it in their mixtures. The second lightest element will make its way to the top of the atmo and away.
People and critters nearby might talk funny for a while.
Helium is in short supply. The person or company who figures out how to harness and collect this venting will be an eleventy-skadillionaire.
