My husband and I do well, but Hermès is just off the charts! Nancy, for example, gave a speech about obamacare wearing an Hermès scarf. An $8K Hermès scarf. Their handbags go for $30K and you have to be chosen to have the “privilege” to buy one. Those 1%ers are at it again!

No kidding. I was killing some time and wandered into one of their stores. I’d never heard much about them except the name. I looked at the (in the early 90’s) $7K scarf. The saleswoman told me my wife would love it. I said “She’d shoot me, and I’d let her!”

They should. Freepers tend to be highly intelligent and savvy. On the other hand, I do tend to go for very subtle humor, and sometimes I'm disappointed when people don't get it.

Same here. We drive luxury cars and I even own a Louis Vuitton handbag but Hermes?! Not possible nor would I ever pay that much for a scarf let alone a handbag.
