An influential force wants Donald Trump to knock off his attacks on fellow GOP presidential candidate Jeb Bush: his wife, Melania.

“I was actually told that by my wife, and I don’t mean to [attack Bush], because I think he’s a nice person,” Trump told CNN’s Jake Tapper when asked about his hard hits on Bush.

Melania Trump attended Trump’s campaign announcement at Trump Tower in Manhattan this month, although she stayed in the background and didn’t speak.

I doubt it was his wife.

Boy are you dumb. LOL!

When Trump showed up on Hannity and turned it down a notch I told Mr. GG2 that I bet Melania told him to tone down the rhetoric and it looked like she gave him a trim. He won’t let anybody but her cut his hair.

That press conference was probably the first time they were in the same room for months.

With Trump, one never knows what is an authentic reaction, or a scripted sound bite. Now watch, the first person who criticizes Trumps wife, will be severely criticized by Donald for ‘dragging family onto the battlefield’, even though he himself has added her to the picture.

Could be that the narrative of listening to his wife is to make him more appealing to women.

Don’t worry Mrs. Trump. The Donald will lay you off just as he has laid off all of his previous wives.

Probably.

Just like everyone else, they do their research to see what will appeal to voters, in this case women. Apparently the wife having an influence in the husband’s affairs is appealing to the female electorate.

Then again, who knows?

Come on now. You could say the same for every professional politician in D.C. When politicians words don't add up it's usually because the truth was never included in the equation.

So bad with professional politicians Americas argue and debate about they said. Then the media attempts to interpret their words as they tell America what they just heard from their perspective. There are good reasons why this is the way it is.

The whole just makes Jeb!! Sound like even more of a weenie. The girls can’t bear to see the football captain take on the skinny little nerd with braces.

Trump is kind of effeminate, but I wouldn’t say he’s a nerd with braces.

Jebbie has influence in all the right places; he is determined to be the nominee, but he hasn’t thought twice about being the winner. Sounds like Mittens Romney redux

Didn’t Rudy Giuliani does something just like this in 2008, or was it the compromising Howard Baker clone, Fred Thompson? Think it was Rudy having his wife call into a debate via cell phone

Is Melania Knauss Trump a citizen yet? If she’s only a Green Card holder then STFU.
