Marco Rubio and Jeb Bush: OK, Federalism Is Dead, Let’s Move Along Now
PJ Media ^ | 06-27-2015 | Michael van der Galien

Senator Marco Rubio and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush have responded to SCOTUS’ illegal same-sex marriage ruling by saying that it’s now time to move on. Here’s the senator from Florida:

“While I disagree with this decision, we live in a republic and must abide by the law. As we look ahead, it must be a priority of the next president to nominate judges and justices committed to applying the Constitution as written and originally understood…

“I firmly believe the question of same sex marriage is a question of the definition of an institution, not the dignity of a human being. Every American has the right to pursue happiness as they see fit. Not every American has to agree on every issue, but all of us do have to share our country. A large number of Americans will continue to believe in traditional marriage, and a large number of Americans will be pleased with the Court’s decision today. In the years ahead, it is my hope that each side will respect the dignity of the other.”

Jeb Bush basically feels the same.

“Guided by my faith, I believe in traditional marriage. I believe the Supreme Court should have allowed the states to make this decision. I also believe that we should love our neighbor and respect others, including those making lifetime commitments. In a country as diverse as ours, good people who have opposing views should be able to live side by side. It is now crucial that as a country we protect religious freedom and the right of conscience and also not discriminate.”

In other words: Jeb says he’s personally against gay marriage, but now that SCOTUS has issued its ridiculously illegal ruling, it’s time to move on and start talking about other issues.

Both of them are quislings.

We need a far right strongman to do exactly as Obama has done but for the side of this Republic. Why do we keep getting these liberal republicans reaching for the brass ring?

I want someone that comes in and really takes the gloves off.

A Constitutional, far right conservative "clothed in the immense power of the presidency"

Ted Cruz: ‘These are some of the darkest 24 hours in nation’s history’

Ted Cruz was on Hannity radio a few minutes ago, weighing in on the same-sex marriage ruling from the Supreme Court today, suggesting that “these are some of the darkest 24 hours in the nation’s history.” He told Sean Hannity that the rulings from both yesterday and today were “naked and shameless judicial activism.”

He also blasted some of the presidential candidates for not having any backbone:

You know what’s striking? How many of the presidential candidates today issues statements the marriage decision that basically said the court has spoken, the issue is over and it’s time to move on. They sounded like Barack Obama.

It was heartbreaking and I have to say I look at some of these folks and think ‘for once could you grow a backbone?’

They just don’t get it. This is not like a ballgame where you lose and tip your hat to the winner. To paraphrase JFK, this is an ongoing twilight struggle to preserve the Constitution, to preserve representative government, and to preserve national sovereignty. The opposition never rests, and is already preparing for the next battle.

Yes we should abide by the law but when five robbed jackasses made their own law, then we have a constitutional right to not obey. When the communists liberals of the Court continue to disregard what they were appointed to do, they we have a right and responsibility to remove. No such luck.

Nothing WRONG with the federal givernment that de-funding it 80% will not CURE...

I say FIX IT... by de-funding it...

IF de-funded.. everything will quite quickly come around to become much more LOGICAL..

STARVING federal givernment thieves IS A GOOD THING..
I’d pay good money to witness a federal givernment thief STARVE.. on video.. with proper audio..

I agree they should move along out of our sight. Sorry Marko fans but every day he reveals a little more. He is not what he says he is.

I don’t really care about same sex unions. Let the government issues the license. What I do care about is that no spiritual group/church/individual/business should be forced to compromise their beliefs. They have a right to speak, believe and refuse service. This is the red line I draw.

I didn’t know it was possible, but the Rube sounds more liberal than Jeb!. That’s a low bar, to begin with.

NWO-—goat-god “puppets” promoting their Luciferean religion and worship into the worldview of a Christian Constitution-—based on Natural Laws and INDIVIDUAL Rights from God which are UNALIENABLE—and Christian Ethics with reject Satanism, Atheism—and irrational Marxism and all irrational ideas like “same-sex” “Marriage—an oxymoron-— just like the Skull and Bones NAMBLA boy-”lovers”. Sodomizing others is a vice and can never be promoted in a “Just” Law therefore it is Null and Void as Justice J. Marshal stated.

They KNOW how a toxic culture warps and destroys the Worldview of the children to create those ignorant, hyper-sexualized puerile people where they are fixated in the Limbic area of the brain, so Reason and Logic will be impossible in adulthood. They will be emotional useful idiots like the homofascists we see in the streets today—and those fascists tearing down the Confederate flag. Animals with no critical thinking skills-—all devoid of Wisdom and Virtue-—which is hammered out of them in the Marxist schools where curricula is written by sodomite CAIR elites to destroy Reason and normal sexual identity formation.

Promoting Vice in “Just” Law makes “Justice” (the Queen of Virtue) an oxymoron.

Same kind of spineless, groveling cowardice we saw with Mike Pence in Indiana, and then this week with Nikki Haley in South Carolina. Folding at the drop of a hat.

Contemptable, yellow-bellied scum. I’ve had it with these cretins. Rubio and Bush are perfectly fine with ignoring the laws when rewarding illegals with amnesty, but somehow expect us to abide by the unholy laws pushed through by five degenerate justices. Like hell!

Dear Dudes:

The daze of abiding by the Laws (of man or 'rats or whatever) are over.

We now have a post constant, written legal structure.

Now we have instantaneous emotional Law. - see Baltimore

Why should we respect anyone who doesn’t respect us? Think about it this way. Our constitution is a contract between We the People and the federal government. We agreed to be bound by certain rules of behavior. One side, the left, doesn’t like those rules, so they cheated. They stacked the Supreme Court and deprived me and mine of the rule of law. Now I’m supposed to respect that?

I don’t like homosexual marriage, but that’s not the biggest issue. My beef is twofold. One: the left cheated. They rewrote the rules, and the only way I can do anything about it now is to amend the US Constitution (a perfectly legal and moral route they ignored). They completely shut off debate—the democratic processes—while claiming to respect different opinions.

Two: This is just a start. They fully intend to bring the full weight of the federal government down on me and mine if I don’t accept their tyranny. Thank you, may I have another! No way. The left deserves as much respect as they give us in the democratic process, which is...NONE.

Yeah, like Roberts and Kennedy.

Congress should pass a bill pursuant to Article III Section 2 ( In all the other Cases before mentioned, the supreme Court shall have appellate Jurisdiction, both as to Law and Fact, with such Exceptions, and under such Regulations as the Congress shall make.) that requires SCOTUS to get specific approval from Congress before determining the constitutionality of any Federal law.
