He may be on the right side on this issue but he is still a POS.
Wow.
A demonstration of some actual political courage and its ... Melonhead Webb!!
While all of the Republican pols go semi-fetal.
He’s never seen a position he couldn’t agree with, or trash for that matter as long as it serves his immediate political needs. I’m surprised he didn’t manage to out double talk the WH on the hostage payments.
Signed,
Virginian
Because FU, that's why. First amendment. deal with it.
Not after this.
Exactly.
Whatever slim chances he had of winning the Dem nomination have been effectively torpedoed.
The Dems prefer political correctness and marching in lockstep, not free thinkers.
Ironically, that’s exactly why it came into vogue. It became really popular about the time the feds became interested in civil rights.
Northern blacks knew of Jim Crow but experienced it first hand during military service. It could no longer be ignored as just a weird Southern cultural thing.
Republicans are lily livered cowards.
While my feelings about the Confederate flag are ambivalent, I never cared about it much. But to say that it “caused” this nut job to go on a shooting spree is absurd.
The issue is censorship, period. Apparently on liberals’ terms, or according to their perception.
All flags have symbolic power. That’s what flags are for. Some nutty students at UC Irvine recently wanted to do away with displaying the Stars ‘n Stripes because of U.S. “exceptionalism.”
I am offended by the rainbow flag. Shouldn’t that also be removed? Just watch the reaction of the left-wingers.
Neither of my great, great, grandfathers fought on either side of the Civil War, but to remove the Stars and Bars from the General Lee is a travesty of the highest order.
FUBO and all Black rasists!
I can’t stand that POS, but on this he is spot on.
Isn’t it interesting that it’s a dhimmicrat who is first out of the chute with a straight endorsement of the CBF.
This could gain traction in the south, where an alternative to hillary might be appreciated. Sanders might resonate in other parts of the country. Knock the beast out of the race. Perhaps it’s time to sing the praises of Webb.
Makes sense to me.
It will not have any traction in the South when you consider that the overwhelming majority of Dem primary voters in the South are black. It will have the precise opposite effect.
He is one weird dude.
So maybe he’ll run as a republican.
When A DEMOCRAT is the only politician actually saying this???
Gonna have to pour a stiff drink tonight.
It is much easier for him, as a Dem, to get away with this.
