NEW YORK – Along with filing financial reports filled with errors and misstatements, “Big Four” accounting firm PricewaterhouseCoopers neglected to verify whether the Clinton Foundation obtained tax-exempt status for its various sub-entities, including its AIDS charity, contends respected Wall Street analyst Charles Ortel.
As WND has reported, Ortel’s six-month investigation indicates the Clintons have diverted tens millions of dollars donated for charitable purposes to the personal enrichment of themselves and their close associates.
He says PWC neglected to exercise due diligence in fulfilling its professional responsibilities in conducting even the most basic inquiries required of an honest audit.
PWC, he says, failed to inquire whether the Clinton Foundation has applied for and received duly issued IRS tax-exempt determinations for its various sub-entities and activities, including fighting HIV/AIDS globally under the auspices of the Clinton Health Access Initiative Inc., also known as CHAI.

Only conservatives actually have to get IRS approval of a 501 c 3 (or similar) status. Liberals can do WTF they want to do.
The IRS is only there to enforce laws against conservatives. It’s there to help liberals - the wealthy with their foundations - and the handouts for the others.

While I’m no fan of the Clintons, and believe that PWC took liberties with the accounting, I don’t understand this. Didn’t the Clintons file a non-profit return Form 990? And doesn’t that require a TIN from the IRS? And, if it’s a non-profit TIN, doesn’t that mean the IRS approved it?
Now, whether or not they actually operated as a charity instead of cover for a personal slush fund is a different issue. It’s here where PWC seems to have fallen down on the job as auditor.

I expect once again, NOTHING will happen to the Clintons or their buddies. They are, and have been for a very long time, CRIMINALS who have defrauded the public and still NOTHING is or has been done to stop them in their tracks.
It is time for a complete purge of those who DO HAVE THE POWER to remove these people, even if it needs to be done in force. Only then can we expect to see this country back on the right track. in the old days, the Clintons would already be hanging from the nearest tree.

Each separate corporate subsidiary has to apply for and obtain IRS recognition of 501(c)(3) status. Being a non-profit corporation does not automatically make it a charitable tax exempt corporation.

Americans who donated to the Clinton Foundation took the money off their taxes.

OOPS---Here's yet another Foundation "clerical error." Several state and federal agencies the Clintons listed as "donors" told news outlets they did not contribute to the Clinton Foundation.

BTW, to get a tax-write-off, the alleged Foundation donors must submit a "gift receipt" w/ their tax returns.
Someone needs to apply to a federal court, probably the Court of Appeals for DC Circuit or the one covering Arkansas where foundation is located for appointment of a special prosecutor. No one has the guts in Congress to let out a peep about this.
Courts have inherent authority to appoint a special prosecutor where the US Attorneys or Attorney General have conflicts of interest and/or refuse to act.
(Question: Has anyone even asked Loretta Lynch or FBI to investigate this and file charges?)
