Save them for the garden. The Squanto method of planting. Dig your hole, drop the dead carp in, throw in some dirt, drop a seed or seeds, cover, wait 110 days, pick your corn, beans, or squash. Worked for Squanto and the pilgrims, it will work for you!

I’m not getting this. The point of the processing plants is to scoop up as much of the Asian Carp as possible.
I’m sorry. I’m used to hearing how the carp will replace the great lakes sportfishing industry and we’ll all get rich.
I see a catch-22 here: As a business I either 1) farm what’s available 2) farm it myself
As the carp is a pest ‘in nature’ within the U.S. - that presumes the want would be to eradicate the problem, which would run counter to #1 above, and necessitate #2 (grow ponds/etc.): IE: Harvest enough to keep the fish coming in naturally; which still leaves the pest.
I still like my bounty idea...Then fish until they are gone .
