If you watch Fox News you inhabit a completely different world with different facts than if you read (the) New York Times, he said. It's called reality, bammy.

We are in the Golden Age of News Media. There are more outlets with more diverse opinion available to more people than ever before in history.
Obamas statement illustrates the presidents true ignorance of history (as if he has not thoroughly demonstrated that fact sufficiently)
For the history of the United States from the founding to the current day there has been in most of the cities of the country more than one news out let.
Be they standard newspapers, tabloids, weeklies, monthlies or something else; most cities of any size had more than one news outlet with one or more opposing views on the topics of the day.
Todays national news media is simply a continuation of that history.
It is one of only a few bright spots in the current body politic.

The creepy totalitarian thinks all ‘news outlets’ should be liberal. You know - the kind that take gussied up press releases and rework them to mildly look like ‘news’... We should interview the lazy ones at the New York Times. They can tell us a story.
